The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) could land in a tricky situation now that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Victor Newman (Eric Braden) are on the verge of scheming together.
Y&R fans know Diane has asked Kyle to keep secrets before, even from Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier).
Now Kyle might ask Diane to return the favor and keep a secret of his own.
It’s easy to imagine Diane overhearing something or somehow finding out that Kyle has teamed up with Victor.
Diane might also get updates on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) being targeted and set up to fail.
If Kyle pushes Diane to keep quiet about all this, she may feel obligated to go along with his wishes.
Of course, that could be a problem now that Diane is romantically involved with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
The stakes are higher now and the level of trust is growing stronger.
Diane told Jack that he knew all her secrets now, but what happens if she finds another one to hide from him – particularly one involving their son and the Abbott family business?
Although Kyle thinks he can make sure only Adam is affected, something could easily go wrong.
There’s a chance Jabot itself could take a hit as part of Adam’s failure setup.
Regardless, Kyle is joining forces with an old enemy of Jack’s to frame a good friend of his – not to mention Kyle is perhaps putting the company at risk in the process. This whole plot against Adam could spell trouble.
No matter how careful Kyle thinks he can be, this may lead to disaster.
If Diane keeps secrets again, it could cause a setback in her romance with Jack and make him question the trust they were finally starting to establish.
Jack may worry that he’ll always have to wonder if Diane is telling him the whole story.
If Kyle’s scheme ends in catastrophe and does damage to Jabot, that could give Jack a reason to rip into Diane for keeping quiet.
It might leave Jack feeling like he could’ve done something to prevent the crisis if he wasn’t the last to know!
