The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have to mull over what his future’s going to look like. Although Adam doesn’t appreciate all his father’s manipulation, he knows Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is right about his lack of passion at Jabot.
Adam is admittedly slacking off on the job since his heart just isn’t in it. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) was kind enough to give Adam a safe space to spread his wings, but now Adam seems poised to go home again.
Of course, Adam will probably want to lay down some ground rules when it comes to negotiating his return to Newman Enterprises.
Nevertheless, Adam and Victor should be able to reach an agreement that works for both of them.
Victor has a division that he thinks will be perfect for Adam once he takes over Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) company like he wants.
That should lead to a job offer that indeed lures Adam back into the Newman fold.
Adam doesn’t think there’s any chance of Victor ever putting him in charge of the whole kingdom, so he’s abandoned that dream. Could giving up actually lead to Adam getting the real shot that he wants?
Y&R fans know Victor isn’t happy unless he’s pitting his children against each other.
Whether Victor realizes it or not, he constantly starts wars and fuels conflict among his kids.
Victor claims to want family harmony, but his actions rarely make it seem like that’s the goal. Instead, Victor is always doing something to play favorites and leave one or more of his children feeling like an outcast.
Could Adam’s outcast era be over soon? Victoria has had her moment in the sun for far too long, so maybe the show will shake things up and put someone else on the Newman throne.
If Adam really impresses Victor in his new position and Victoria screws up spectacularly, there could be a corporate game-changer.
The stars could align so that Victor finally lets Adam steal Victoria’s spot – and not just as a temp CEO this time.
It’d be nice to see Adam win for once, especially since it’d wipe that smug look off Victoria’s face!
Will Victor make some updates at Newman Enterprises in the months ahead and ultimately put Adam on the throne where he belongs?
