The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may once again question Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) hiring decisions. Y&R fans know Kyle wasn’t happy at all when Jack made Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) his co-CEO, so he fought hard to get Adam out of the company.
Although that led to Jack and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) feeling betrayed by his tactics, Kyle stands by the part about Adam not belonging at Jabot.
Summer’s struggling to forgive her husband for plotting with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) behind her back, but at least Kyle got what he wanted.
Now that Adam is moving on, Kyle probably thinks he can breathe a sigh of relief in that department.
However, Kyle could trade one problem for another once he gets updates on Adam’s replacement.
It looks like Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will get back in the corporate game and accept Jack’s offer to take Adam’s co-CEO spot.
That news may not go over well with Kyle, who previously clashed with Billy when they tried to run the company together.
Billy and Kyle have proven that it’s tough for them to get along when they’re both working in the family business.
Furthermore, Billy left Chancellor-Winters not too long ago because a corporate job wasn’t a good fit.
The whole point of Billy walking away from his role as Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) COO was to find a new path.
Kyle may think Jack is putting a lot of faith in someone who gets bored with corporate drama easily.
Although Billy should be a step up from Adam in Kyle’s eyes, that doesn’t mean he’ll be on board with his uncle returning to the company.
Kyle may object once again and leave Jack furious over all his complaints.
At this point, Kyle really needs to just shut up and focus on Marchetti, but that’ll be difficult for him to do.
Billy and Kyle’s feud may reignite once they’re both involved at Jabot, so that could lead to the next round of family issues.
