The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Is It Time to Send Douglas to Boarding School – Fans Ready for More Adult Drama?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) custody situation could take a toll on all parties involved. The outcome so far has left many viewers frustrated, so maybe a huge change is needed.

B&B fans on Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) side might feel like this is just another way to make him the loser who never gets time with his son.

It’s true that Thomas has made big mistakes, but that’s the writers’ fault for never truly letting him change for the better.

Thomas should be in a hot new romance by now, but instead he’s stuck clawing his way back to some semblance of normal following an outrageous CPS call scheme.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Thomas could focus on his love life instead of matchmaking for his parents or fighting for Douglas bonding sessions?

Of course, B&B fans on Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) side aren’t happy either. All this “Douglas needs a break” stuff seems pretty ridiculous.

Douglas is a child who had a perfectly fine life at the cabin, so there was no point in turning everyone else’s lives upside down.

It might be different if Douglas was being neglected, but that’s not what was happening.

Douglas wanting to have fun near the beach and avoid hurting his parents’ feelings aren’t good enough reasons for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to have to tackle raising him.

Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) fans may also be annoyed over them getting stuck in the middle of the constant Douglas feud.

However, there’s a potential solution that could be waiting at the end of all this. Is it time to send Douglas to boarding school?

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) son went to boarding school and seems to be thriving.

Perhaps Douglas could join Will Spencer (last played by Finnegan George) there sooner or later.

Although Douglas is an adorable kid played by an incredibly talented young actor, some viewers are ready for stories that focus a little more on the adults.

There’s a chance Douglas will gain even more independence through living at the cliff house away from Hope and Thomas.

It could leave Douglas ready for boarding school down the road, so we’ll see if that news eventually brings another goodbye.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say there’s more Douglas drama ahead in the meantime, so stay tuned for updates on what’s to come.
