The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will try to focus on the baby and stand against a romantic reunion with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). However, that task could get a lot more difficult once Adam and Sally are bonding over their impending bundle of joy.
Thanks to the real paternity news in Y&R’s February 22 episode, Adam will prepare to be a father again.
Since Adam will want to be involved in Sally’s pregnancy, he should end up attending an ultrasound appointment with her.
That could become a major turning point for these exes.
You can bet Sally and Adam will marvel over their little miracle as they get a glimpse of the baby and eventually hear the heartbeat.
Sally will have moments when she sees Adam’s softer side, so the idea of him being her baby’s dad will get a lot less scary.
Adam may back off a bit when it comes to romantic pressure as well, so that could give Sally a chance to figure out for herself what she wants.
Of course, Sally’s recent fantasies were pretty telling in that department.
It seems significant that Sally daydreamed about Nick not being in love with her and mostly caring about the baby.
Deep down, Sally knows Adam is the one who loves her on a deep, passionate level.
Nick has a great time with Sally and is a good man, but none of that adds up to an epic love story.
Now that destiny has chosen Adam as the father of Sally’s child, a romantic reunion seems to be in the works.
Sally just needs to move beyond the pain of the past and get over her fears of a future with Adam.
This baby will represent hope for that future, so Sally and Adam still have an opportunity to come together as a united family with their son or daughter.
Naturally, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will also be part of the picture and could remind Sally what an awesome dad Adam is.
Sally has always known that Adam would do anything for Connor, so Y&R spoilers say that’ll apply to the child he shares with her, too.
It’ll take some time, but Adam and Sally are likely on the verge of reuniting.
