General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) managed to survive her latest reign of terror alive. GH writers apparently decided they had milked all the drama they could out of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) since he faced a grim fate at the end of his own run.
The show let Heather live and locked her back up, which means they clearly have more plans for her.
It seems like a done deal that Heather will show up again somewhere down the line to wreak more havoc.
Of course, that could happen soon or it could happen further down the road. It’s all about what the writing team decides, but we can’t ignore Heather’s survival and the lingering threat it brings.
Heather has proven that no prison or insane asylum can truly hold her, so she might have another getaway plot.
Perhaps Heather could escape once more when the people of Port Charles least expect it.
Where there’s a will, there’s a way! That’s Heather’s motto since she spent the entire hook storyline coming and going as she pleased.
Heather could form another escape strategy, especially since she’s got some unfinished business.
Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) rejected her bio mom, but Heather obviously hasn’t given up on connecting with her since she recently sent her daughter a letter.
Heather is the kind of woman who believes she can turn almost any horrible situation around.
At some point, Heather might make an even bolder move in hopes of establishing a bond with Esme.
Regardless, Esme’s baby could be Heather’s beacon of hope.
Even if Heather never gets Esme to see things her way, she may believe she can have a do-over with her grandson.
Thanks to Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) big idea, Esme is poised to enjoy her freedom – at least for a while.
Although Trina believes it’ll be better for Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) to be raised out of prison, that could also leave him vulnerable to Heather.
If Heather escapes again, it’ll be easier for her to get to Ace if he’s not locked up with Esme.
Whatever the case, Heather will be a threat as long as she’s living and breathing. Will Heather use this time off screen to come up with a kidnapping scheme?
