The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will remain concerned about Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) return to Hope for the Future. B&B fans know Liam was quite vocal about his disapproval, but Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) mind was made up.
Since Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) backed Hope into a corner with an ultimatum, Hope had to let Thomas make a comeback to keep her line alive.
Of course, that decision is working out pretty well so far – at least from a creative standpoint.
Thomas and Hope work well together since he knows how to bring her vision to life through inventive, dramatic designs.
Unfortunately, Hope and Thomas’ partnership could pose problems in other ways.
Liam will grow increasingly worried about Thomas using the situation to manipulate Hope like he’s done in the past.
Steffy has some concerns of her own when it comes to Hope’s attraction to Thomas and the trouble that could bring.
All of this has to be building to something, so we should go ahead and consider what that might be.
There’s bound to be some incident where Liam feels like a line was crossed.
It could be a simple misunderstanding, but Liam will inevitably lose it when Thomas and Hope seem too close for comfort.
That could push Thomas to do something drastic, especially if he feels like he’s genuinely putting Hope and Liam’s marriage in jeopardy.
Before Thomas resumed his role as Hope’s lead designer, he fought hard to make her believe that he’d changed.
Thomas assured Hope that they could do great things together if she’d just give him one more chance.
However, Thomas also acknowledged that he didn’t want to make waves in Hope’s relationship and was willing to scrap his return if necessary.
Since Thomas was prepared to back off, he may prove he’s still willing to do that now.
There could come a point when Thomas is forced to make a tough decision if his collaboration with Hope takes a toll on her romance.
Thomas could easily revamp the line and then announce that he’s stepping down.
Once Thomas officially saves the new collection, he may reveal that he’s quitting Hope for the Future.
Perhaps Thomas could offer to find his own replacement and even train that person if need be.
Regardless, Thomas may decide to bow out for the sake of Hope and Liam’s marriage if things get ugly.
There are certainly other Forrester lines and areas of the company that would benefit from Thomas’ attention.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Thomas’ decision would stick, but it’d go a long way toward proving he’s changed if he tries to remove himself from Hope’s orbit.
