The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will remain nervous about bringing a new life into the world, especially as her pregnancy progresses. The closer Sally gets to her due date, the more real all this will become.
During the week of April 10-14, something will happen that could either add to Sally’s anxiety or relieve it somewhat.
Regardless, Sally’s about to have a surprising encounter that’ll offer a bit of a trial baby run.
Many fans have understandably been complaining about Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) totally offscreen adoption storyline.
What’s the point of Tessa and Mariah becoming parents if we don’t even see it happen?
Fortunately, the show’s finally going to rectify that on April 14.
That’s when Mariah and Tessa will return home from their latest visit with the birth mom in Portland, so the baby will be back in Genoa City, too.
At the recent gala, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) mentioned something about having her hands full with “Aria” soon, so it seems Y&R just casually slipped the baby’s name into the conversation.
Aria seems fitting based on Tessa’s background in music and the couple’s desire to have a unique name that suits their particular baby.
At Crimson Lights, Sally will make one of her usual stops for tea and will take a moment to dote over Aria in her baby carrier.
It’ll surely be a powerful moment that affects Sally and makes her consider what it’ll be like when she’s a mom.
Sally will have a chance to meet this little one and get a trial run before she welcomes her own child down the road.
This could even make Sally really start hoping for a girl – though she’ll be happy either way as long as the baby’s healthy.
Sally may hear about some of Mariah and Tessa’s adventures as new parents as well.
Although Tessa and Mariah have no doubt faced some challenges, they may assure Sally that it’s so worth it.
Sally will have a lot to think about after this baby encounter and will prepare to become parents with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so stay tuned for news on the path ahead for their family.
