The Young and the Restless Recap: Friday, April 14 – Jeremy Manhandles Phyllis & Barks Fatal Threat – Kyle’s Marriage Disaster

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, April 14, teases that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will settle back in her motel room and ask herself what she’s done before Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) barges in.

Jeremy will blast Phyllis for not leaving town last night and for taking such a huge risk by attending the memorial.

Phyllis will insist she’s changed her mind and will feel like her kids will forgive her if she reveals she’s alive.

However, Jeremy will remind Phyllis that the plan was to put Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) in prison.

Stark will refuse to let Phyllis reveal his involvement in all this, so he’ll urge her to put any second thoughts out of that pretty little head of hers before something happens to that pretty little head.

Phyllis will stand up to Jeremy, but he’ll grab her and make his threat clearer.

After pointing out that Phyllis is dead to the world, Jeremy will warn that she’d better keep it that way.

“Or so help me God, I will kill you myself. You got it?!” Jeremy will snap on Friday’s Y&R episode.

As Stark shakes Phyllis to get his point across, she’ll seem a bit rattled.

At Society, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will meet with Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) to try to convince her that Diane is innocent.

Christine will argue that the evidence is solid and won’t be able to do anything unless new proof exonerates Diane.

Jack won’t see why Diane would risk losing the new life she’d built and will remain convinced that Jeremy set her up.

Christine will point out that Diane probably won’t make bail considering her history of disappearing, but Jack will plan to clear her name and prove Jeremy’s guilt.

At the Abbott house, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will thank Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for being there and will assume Diane is Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) priority now.

When Kyle appears, he’ll assure Summer that’s not true.

Once Nick is gone, Kyle and Summer will bicker over whether Diane was capable of killing Phyllis.

Although Kyle will insist Jeremy is the only guilty party, Summer will refuse to believe he acted alone.

After Summer says Diane is the reason Phyllis is dead, she’ll push Kyle to open his eyes.

Summer will agree to give Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) a cover story to explain why Diane is gone, but she’ll suggest it’s wishful thinking to believe Diane will make bail at her arraignment tomorrow.

After Jack comes home, Kyle will admit he feels caught in the middle of his mom and wife.

If Kyle can’t convince Summer that Diane is innocent, he’ll wonder how his marriage is going to survive.

Jack will reassure Kyle and insist that they’ll prove Diane’s innocence together, so they’ll both vow not to give up until they get the truth.

At Crimson Lights, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will show off their new daughter, Aria Porter-Copeland.

Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will gush over her granddaughter as Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) watches with a smile nearby.

Next, Sally will check out the baby in the stroller and ask how it feels being mothers, so Tessa and Mariah will talk about their greatest dream coming true.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will join Sally as they visit Aria, but they’ll ultimately sit on the patio alone and discuss their own impending bundle of joy.

Although Adam will think Sally’s falling in love with the idea of having a daughter, she’ll insist a son would be amazing, too.

Sally will think their own kid will be just as adorable once he or she’s out in the world.

Back with Mariah, she’ll hold Aria as Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) enters and greets her.

Tessa will express gratitude and hug Elena since she really helped ease her nerves before Aria’s arrival.

Mariah and Tessa will feel weird about being so happy since they heard the news about Phyllis, which left a lot of people in pain.

Nevertheless, Sharon will suggest it’s OK for Tessa and Mariah to enjoy finally having their little family.

At Newman Enterprises, Nick will spot Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) outside Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) door, so she’ll offer her condolences regarding Phyllis’ death.

Once Nick knocks and interrupts the lovemaking inside, Victoria and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will scramble to get dressed.

When Victoria finally lets Nick in, she’ll act like Nate was just having a drink with her and will offer Nick one, too.

After Nate takes off, Nick will call Victoria out on what just happened in her office.

Despite Victoria’s attempt to play dumb, Nick will acknowledge the lipstick that was on Nate’s neck as well as Victoria’s missed button and wild hair.

Nick will question Nate’s motives and will suggest he might be doing this for personal gain, but Victoria won’t believe that.

Once Nick brings up Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) pulling the wool over Victoria’s eyes, she’ll insist that was different and warn Nick to never mention him again.

Since Victoria is respecting Nick’s relationship with Sally and keeping quiet about Adam being her baby’s father, she’ll push Nick to keep her private life private.

After Nick picks up the papers that were thrown in the floor, he’ll dump them on Victoria’s desk.

Victoria will act like she has work to do, so Nick will urge her to start by brushing her hair!

At Society, Nick will corner Nate at the bar and suggest he figured Nate would need some time to figure out what he wanted to tell Elena.

Nate will pretend he doesn’t understand what Nick means, but Nick will encourage him to drop the act.

Nick won’t know if this is a fling or something long-term and he won’t care.

However, Nick will voice concerns since Nate turned his back on his family at Chancellor-Winters for selfish gain – and that means his credibility is shot.

Nate will suggest that if Nick came there to put him on notice, then the message was received.

That said, Nate will contend that what happens in his personal time is his own business.

Nick will imply that Nate’s made it his business too right as Elena appears.

Although Elena will wonder what’s going on, Nate will claim Nick’s just worried that he’s consumed by power and will act like he’s sick of hearing it.

After Nick says it was good to see Elena and tells her that she looks beautiful, he’ll add that Nate’s a lucky guy.

Once Nick’s gone, Elena will ask if Nate wants to tell her what that was about.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena and Nate’s relationship is headed for trouble, so stay tuned for updates on what’s next for this couple.
