General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, May 1, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will show everyone who’s boss at the Pikeman meeting. Sonny won’t want to be the only one who’s taking gambles here and may suggest there’d better be a major reward in it for him.
Thanks to the hidden camera Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) set up, there’ll be evidence of Sonny’s criminal activity by the end of this meeting.
Dex will soon have a video that proves Sonny’s guilt, so he can report back to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) with it.
In the meantime, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will think Sonny’s effort should count for something, so she’ll hope Michael can see that and finally make peace with his dad.
Of course, Willow doesn’t realize Michael’s been plotting to put Sonny in prison, but she’s on the verge of finding out that news any day now!
When Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) gets off a plane, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will summon him immediately and spark questions.
Martin will wonder what all the fuss is about, but Nina will obviously want to discuss the anonymous tip to the SEC.
Is there a chance Martin didn’t call in that tip yet after all?
If that’s the case, it could mean another key player like Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) actually made the initial complaint against Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
In Greenland, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will jump out of hiding to prevent the guards from spotting the other members of the rescue team.
We’ll see Valentin put himself in grave danger in hopes of keeping Drew, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) free.
After Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) clash over the important work she’s doing, he’ll push her to stay on schedule and prove whether the antidote can still be used.
Next, Valentin will presumably have a tense reunion with Victor, who may get suspicious if his son claims he came there all alone.
That could lead to Victor ordering his guards to go back out and do a more thorough search of the area.
Back with Laura, she’ll feel like they should give Victor exactly what he expects to find.
Laura will clearly have a strategy that she hopes will appease Victor and still leave the door open to saving all the hostages in time.
In Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) room at GH, she’ll bicker with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) when he confronts her over the biological weapon he just heard about.
Scott may insist the WSB needs updates immediately, but Anna will no doubt warn him that’s a quick way to get Liesl killed.
If the bureau thinks they can contain this situation with a few deaths instead of millions, they’ll absolutely choose to wipe out the island instead of a good chunk of the population.
That’s why Anna will make it clear that lives are at stake and hope she can count on Scott to keep his mouth shut.
Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) will also make a desperate move and will eventually be headed to Greenland along with Anna.
