The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 11, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) awkwardly interrupted Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) make-out session in the Forrester CEO office.
That led to Finn mentioning Liam’s lingering concerns about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), so Liam admitted he’d taken Thomas at his word before and that turned out to be a mistake.
Liam suggested he’d never forgive himself if something happened, but Steffy argued that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) didn’t need protection.
After a flashback about Hope’s flirting, Steffy pointed out that Thomas wouldn’t do anything to interfere in Liam’s marriage.
In the design office, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) gave Thomas and Hope updates on some important buyers who were in San Francisco.
These buyers wanted to meet with both Hope and Thomas about the line right away.
Although it was sudden, Thomas and Hope agreed this was a huge opportunity that they needed to take advantage of.
Carter made sure all the preparations were made and said the flight plan was filed, so they just had to wait on the plane to get fueled up.
Once Carter dashed off, Thomas pointed out that Liam wasn’t going to be too thrilled about this.
Liam overheard and wondered what they were talking about, so Hope brought him up to speed on the influential buyers that requested an ASAP meeting in San Francisco.
After Liam realized Hope and Thomas would be going on this trip together, he definitely wasn’t happy about it.
Thomas decided to let them talk while he grabbed some sketches elsewhere, but he assured Liam that there was nothing to worry about.
Thomas was next to interrupt Finn and Steffy as they were kissing in the CEO office.
While Thomas got the sketches he was after, he talked to Steffy about the impromptu San Francisco meeting with Hope and guessed Liam wasn’t wishing her bon voyage right now.
Back with Hope, she pointed out this wasn’t an overnight trip. Hope also insisted it could make or break her collection and gushed over all the buzz this could generate.
Liam grumbled about Hope spending even more time with Thomas, but he knew she’d heard all his concerns before.
After Liam accepted this was how it had to be, he said he’d be waiting for Hope to get home tonight.
Hope thanked Liam for his support and assured him of her commitment before hugging him nervously.
Next on Thursday’s B&B episode, Liam once again interrupted Steffy and Finn when they were kissing, so he reminded them the door had a lock!
Liam acknowledged the fact that Hope’s formerly obsessed lead designer was “taking a little trippy trip” with her and obviously wasn’t pleased about the news.
Steffy felt the out-of-town meeting was necessary, but Liam wished Hope was going with Carter or literally anybody else on the planet.
That said, Liam was just trying to remind himself that no concern about Thomas trumped his faith in Hope.
Steffy looked uneasy since she was clearly still battling worries about Hope’s earlier flirting.
On the Forrester jet, Hope and Thomas buckled up as they prepared for takeoff. Thomas asked about Hope’s conversation with Liam since he didn’t want to cause issues.
Hope reassured Thomas since Liam knew that she loved him and that no one would come between their marriage.
Thomas reflected on Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) making a lot of mistakes in her love life, but he knew that Hope wasn’t like that and would never make those same mistakes.
As Hope’s heart pounded, she seemed rattled and pensive over Thomas’ comment.
