In tonight’s Law & Order Organized Crime episode, Stabler’s old partner was helping him with an open case. She believed a string of rapes were connected to his convicts getting unofficial furloughs. These convicts were released to kill people and in turn someone was getting paid.

The Correction Officer was the one releasing them. He was the one with millions of dollars in his wife’s name. He was the one that has a second home in the Hamptons, but it was beginning to look like his people weren’t just hired to murder people. They were also hired to rape people.

The prisoners were paid for the rapes. It’s where Junior Suarez was getting the money to give to his family. Captain Benson went to Stabler with the information SVU collected. She showed him DNA evidence proving Suarez was released to carry out rapes and that was the final piece of the puzzle.

When the prisoners were released to carry out murder, they weren’t getting paid. The rapes on the other hand were something personal and it wasn’t connected to the Green Haven whisper network. Most of the other convicts didn’t even know about it.

It was just Junior that was swimming in all that cash. He didn’t need it. He was in jail serving a life sentence. He also didn’t need it for the rep because rapes don’t get the same rep as murders do. Junior was involved in this purely for the money. The cops later showed up at his cell. They tossed it.

They found a cell phone and they tried to ask him about it, but he wasn’t talking. The one person that was Gretchen Scully. She was the one that paid for Maria to be raped. Maria used to be her nanny and then she slept with Gretchen’s husband.

Gretchen was struggling to forgive her husband for the betrayal. She also felt that Maria had gotten off too easily. She paid for Maria to be raped and the OCCB found evidence of that when they searched her family home for all of their computers and electronic devices. Gretchen eventually came clean to save herself from a rape charge. She told them that she was crying in the bathroom of a restaurant when another woman overheard. This woman gave Gretchen an invitation to use the website called “Shadowerk”.

Shadowerk was like Kickstarter for human depravity. They could hire anyone to do anything. It would be carried out by strangers with no names being exchanged. Junior hadn’t known Gretchen’s name. She hadn’t known his name. Prior to this, people just had to meet up with strangers in parking lots. They often had to pray they weren’t police. They now don’t have to worry about that. Gretchen sent them an invitation to use Shadowerk. It was tied to crimes all over the world. Sergeant Bell had to bring in both the FBI as well as Interpol.

They had to watch as several people paid for crimes. They couldn’t track down everyone. They took the one that was happening in New York and tried to work it from there. They found out someone paid two grand to kill an old mob guy. His name is Gary Logo. They went to this man in person to warn him about the threat against his life. They asked to use his apartment to capture his killer, but Gary wanted to be paid for his troubles. The cops had to threaten to leave him out in the cold with no protection to get him to cooperate.

They eventually caught the young man who had taken on the contract. His name is Josh. Josh was arrested and he decided to help out the police in return for a lighter sentence. They took over his account on Shadowerk. They posted a photo of Gary’s death. Josh was paid two thousand dollars in bitcoin and they found out who was running the site. This person goes by a nickname. The nickname was a Japanese fable about killing hundreds with one sword. Jet tried to trace this person’s IP address. The perp was located in Ohio.

They was where the FBI comes in. FBI Special Agent McCrary put in for a federal warrant for the house in Ohio. The judge that signed off on it had later been murdered. The perp they were looking for proved themselves to be smart. He or she knew that the feds were looking for them. They put out a contract on the judge. It was a hundred and thirty-five thousand dollars in bitcoin. Someone took them up on the offer, but now they have the feds and NYPD hunting for them. Stabler even went to Amanda Rollins to work up a profile on their perp.

Amanda believes he is most likely male, doesn’t have many friends around his own age, and he’s obsessed with systems. Amanda was pregnant by the way. Everyone congratulated her. They also accepted his profile with ease. Benson just was glad to see her, but the man they were hunting was dangerous and he could come after any one of them now that he knows he’s being investigated.

THE END!
