The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the show is gearing up for some exciting moments against a spectacular backdrop. B&B recently had a location shoot in Italy, so it won’t be long until fans see some fantastic scenes from Rome.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will be working closely on an upcoming international event for Forrester Creations.
There’ll be a big fashion show that requires a lot of time and preparation from this design dream team.
Of course, that’s going to drive Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) crazy and could set the stage for him to catch Hope crossing the line with Thomas.
Italy seems like the perfect place for the climax of this storyline.
Even so, we can’t help but feel like the show’s missing a golden opportunity here.
Hope spent years off canvas in Italy before her return to Los Angeles, so she could have an Italian ex or two floating around.
Many viewers like the idea of Hope dealing with her inner bad girl and straying from this pristine image she’s been trying to live up to.
However, it makes no sense for Hope to fall for Thomas considering his history of being totally obsessed with her.
Although Hope and Thomas have some sizzling chemistry, that’s not enough to make some fans forget the past.
Thomas may have truly turned things around, but isn’t that just another good reason to leave him on the right path?
With that in mind, it’d be interesting if Thomas simply opened the door to Hope cheating with someone else – like an Italian ex she previously fell hard for.
In other words, Hope could eventually realize it’s not Thomas in particular who puts her marriage at risk.
Maybe the real problem is Liam if Hope’s attraction to him is fading.
Hope has been more passionate than Liam’s ever seen her now that she’s all hot and bothered by another man.
That sounds like a Liam issue more than a Thomas issue!
Wouldn’t it be great if Hope ran into a former flame in Italy and hooked up with him instead?
Thomas has inadvertently created all these forbidden desires for Hope, so maybe they could explode in an unexpected way.
Unfortunately, we haven’t heard any casting news regarding a hunky ex for Hope, so the show will probably take the predictable route of Hope’s betrayal with Thomas.
Even so, we can still think about what might’ve been and what could still be down the road.
B&B could easily throw a handsome Italian guy in the mix as Hope’s former flame and really shake things up – even after they’re back in LA.
