General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, June 22, reveal that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will join Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in the courtroom as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) prepares to move forward with his plea deal.
Although Michael will worry about the possibility of this somehow blowing back on his mom, Drew may assure Michael that he’ll do everything in his power to keep Carly out of prison.
As part of that plan, Drew has agreed to spend six months at Spring Ridge and pay a hefty fine.
Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) worked out the deal for Drew, who’ll plead guilty in court as Zeke presents the terms of his client’s agreement.
Unfortunately, Drew will get a harsh judge who demands that he spend two years at Pentonville instead, so he’ll reel when his deal gets rejected.
At the Metro Court pool, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will continue to pressure Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) with Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) help.
Spinelli claims he can pinpoint Gladys’ exact location through the tracker in her fitness app and prove she framed Cody, who’ll insist there in “details in play here that are best kept on the DL.”
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was seemingly trying to listen and record the conversation nearby, but Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) surprise interruption derailed things a bit.
“And you thought that was a good idea…why?” Sam asks Kristina during Thursday’s GH preview video.
Kristina will smile in response, so there’ll be some fun sister moments as they give each other a hard time.
At some point, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) will play peacemaker, so she might get involved in this situation with Gladys and Cody.
As for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), she’ll insist that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) couldn’t be more wrong.
Although Maxie suspects Cody’s feelings for Sasha are more than friendly, Sasha will act like their connection is strictly platonic.
Since Sasha will be so adamant about this, Maxie and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) may think she’s protesting a little too much.
It could lead Lucy and Maxie to the conclusion that Sasha has romantic feelings for Cody, too.
At the hospital, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will warn that something will get Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) “absolutely nowhere,” so he could mean arguing with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
Gregory and Tracy will indeed have another round of conflict soon, but she’ll also take a moment to speak with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
“Are you suggesting that Ned fell on purpose?” Alexis asks Tracy in Thursday’s preview clip.
Tracy may realize how ridiculous that sounds once Alexis points it out to her, but we’ll see why she even suggests it in the first place.
Alexis will also suggest a strategy on Thursday’s show, so maybe she could try talking to “Eddie Maine” about his past.
Ned has apparently invented a new reality where he’s genuinely lived as the stage name that he used to go by years ago.
Perhaps Alexis could offer to speak to Ned about when they were a couple – back when Ned was trying to revive his music career as “Eddie.”
It might be helpful for Ned to realize “Eddie” was part of his history, but not in the way he thinks.
Of course, Ned may have other plans if his brain jumbles things and makes him believe he’s still in love with Alexis!
