Tonight’s The Blacklist episode begins in Miami, Florida Reddington is on the phone with Agnes and telling her to put powder in her ballet slippers, and promises that he will be there soon once he soothes out a minor disagreement.

In another room are Raoul and Vincente with their families, a waiter is serving dinner. Red has a proposal for them, but he wants to eat first and tells stories about their past when they risked their lives for an old car. Red says his proposal is fair and will work, as long as they have forbearance. Vincente serves champagne for everyone, but he gets non-alcoholic. They toast, then Vincente starts grabbing at his neck collar, he is going into shock. Leon hits the floor as well, they are anafalctic. Red has seen this before, nobody comes in and nobody leaves, forbearance is now the least of their problems.

Ressler is with his the man he is sponsoring at AA, Jonathan, he wants to give him his two month chip, he saw his dealer yesterday and he didn’t have an urge, and he moved back in with his wife – all of that he credits Ressler, next to his wife, he feels like he is the most important person in his life, he saved his life.

Red calls Dembe, It could not have been the champagne, whatever poisoned them, Red’s guess is that they have all been exposed. It makes Red think of Wormwood, who creates poisons that are undetectable. The Sandoval and Montano family own a mine in the Dominican Republic, rich in cobalt and aluminum. Decades ago, an accident took the life of the Montano patriarch. A few weeks after two Sandovals were killed in retaliation and they have been blood enemies ever since. Once the feud started the mining started. Red assures the rest of the people he is with that he has the top man working on the case, but they are not leaving that room until they get information.

The Taskforce. Cooper tells Herbie that he has to go to Red, and act as his medical expert. Raoul is clutching for his neck, he falls to the ground – Herbie says it looks like an allergy by human touch. Red says someone wants all the Sandovals and Montanos dead.

Herbie sends a report to the Taskforce, the food was laced, with it, mild reactions are turning into deadly ones. The compound is traceable to Wormwood. Gabriella Sandoval, Vincente’s daughter walks in the room and wants to know about the peace talks. Herbie tells her to get out, her father is dead. Herbie goes and tells Red that he sent the information to the Taskforce.

David opens the window, Red told him not to, he falls to the floor. Red says he was given a list of who would be there, Tito Sandoval cancelled last minute so David invited his son, Don Montano. Red says he was surprised, Gabriella is looking through the glass, she looks surprised as well.

Thee drugs were a dead end. But there was a chef, Naomi Lindquist, Red loves her gnocchi. Ressler goes to see her, she says it was a job like no other job except for the tension, she witnessed Vincent arguing with Tito, his relative. She says she ate as well, there is not a dish that goes out that she doesn’t taste. She has a nut allergy, if she was poisoned, she would not be alive.

To Jonathan’s surprise, Hudson calls him in and wants to talk about his relationship with Ressler. Jonathan tells him that it is none of his business. Hudson says he wants proof and he is the only one to get it – Liz Keen was a corrupt FBI agent and Reddington’s air aparent, also Ressler’s lover. He tells Jonathan to ask Ressler about Liz Keen.

Dembe and Siya go to check on Tito, Ressler gets a message from Jonathan.

Red is with Izan and Don, he says he wanted the young generation to take over but this was not his plan. Don says the dying stops here. Red says Tito is responsible. In the other room, Gabriella sends a text, “I need your help, NOW.” Tito was against the peace, he was supposed to be there and he wasn’t. Don says they were tracking Izan’s family, the meeting was on his property. Red says if Tito is responsible there will be no peace until he is found.

Toti is in his room when Siya and embezzlement arrive, he tries to get away but Siya takes him down. Tito acts surprised when he finds out what happened, he says he didn’t kill his family. He admits he threatened to kill his uncle, but it was just a threat. Tito wasn’t there because he didn’t support an alliance. Dembe says if everyone dies, he will be king. Dembe is putting handcuffs on him, Tito grabs for his collar and starts choking, falls to the floor, he has been poisoned too.

Ressler calls Jonathan who says work has been eating him up, they have asked him to pry into someone’s personal life, a friend who has being taken advantage of. Jonathan asks if any event sent Ressler back and he says yes, when someone he loved died in front of him, her name was Liz.

Dembe calls Red and tells him that Tito reacted to his touch, five people are dead now. Dembe figures out the poison was in the dishes, because even though Tito wasn’t at the dinner, when he had the argument in front of the chef, he smashed down on one of he plates with his hand. Herbie speaks to a waiter, she says they were ordered to wear gloves, she didn’t touch the dishes, the order came from Gabriella. Red speaks to Gabriella and lets her know that he is on to her, he is not afraid to die, she on the other hand is terrified that Michael will.

She tried to kill everyone between her and happily ever after, they would never agree to Romeo and Juliette. Red goes to open a door, he says he is late for an engagement and death is a friend. She asks him not to open the door, if he does, he may kill the man she loves. He asks her where to find Wormwood, she only has an IP address on the dark web. She has tried to contact him but he hasn’t responded. She only has the empty bottle that the toxin came in.

The Taskforce narrows the bottle down to a chemical company and a Dr. Harris, Dembe and Siya go after him, he is Wormwood.

Red reveals to the sons that love caused the deaths, the sons didn’t do it, Gabriella did. Michael is upset, he tells Gabriella that she is worse than any of their family before them.

Dr. Harris asks for a lawyer. Dembe and Siya tell him if he doesn’t tell them what the want to know, they can’t protect him from Red’s wrath. There is no antidote, they just have to stay put for about seven more hours. Meanwhile, Ressler calls Herbie and finds out that Red is gone, they we see Red on the phone with Agnes, he is in a plane and on the way to see her.

Red arrives for Agnes’ ballet performance, Gabriella is brought in for booking. Red sends a photo of Agnes at the concert, Cooper knows where he is. Agnes looks up from stage and she sees Pinky.

Jonathan goes to see Hudson, he says the more he looked into who agent Keen was, he knows she was a criminal. Hudson says they need his help to take down the Taskforce, Jonathan agrees to help.

Red arrives back to his place, Cooper is there and asks him if he has a death wish. Cooper tells him that he should be in quarantine. Red tells him all about Agnes’ performance. Then he says life is risks, he gave his word to Agnes, keeping is worth the risk. Cooper tells him that Agnes cares about him, he needs to respect that. Red says for the time he has left he wants to enjoy the good, and he can’t see a better reason to risk his life than Agnes’ ballet.

THE END!
