The Young and the Restless Recap: Friday, June 30 – Sharon Gets Cameron’s Entire Company – Audra Pushes Summer’s Buttons

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, June 30, reveals that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will be jumpy when someone shows up at the door. It’ll turn out to be Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) with a package that was left for Sharon at the front gate.

Sharon will assume it’s something she ordered and will get Nick’s help putting on a necklace he once gave her.

However, Sharon will eventually see that the box is marked personal and confidential, so she’ll realize there’s more to the story here.

Once Sharon opens the box, she’ll realize it’s from the attorney handling Cameron Kirsten’s (Linden Ashby) estate.

This box was meant to be delivered to Sharon in the event of Cameron’s demise.

Since Cameron is gone and can’t hurt her anymore, Sharon will decide to look through the box despite how creepy this is.

Cameron’s journal from his teenage years will be inside along with a collar and ashes for a dog named Frankie.

As for Cameron’s family photo, it’ll have his parents’ faces ripped out.

Sharon will also look through the paperwork for Cameron’s company, Kirsten Incorporated, and see that he signed his entire business over to her.

Nick will assume the company must be in ruins since Cameron was in and out of prison for years.

Sharon won’t care if it’s worth a fortune and will call it garbage as far as she’s concerned.

At the Abbott house, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will flash back to his hot night with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and look pensive.

When Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) walks in, he’ll ask if Kyle’s thinking that what happened yesterday never should’ve happened.

Although Kyle will question what his dad means, Jack will just be talking about the Abbott family division and will mention how Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) staged an intervention.

During their conversation, Kyle will admit he doesn’t want Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) dragged into the circus when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) inevitably comes back and gets a slap on the wrist.

Kyle will also have doubts about Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) forgiving Phyllis and will think things could get nasty all over again once Phyllis returns.

Since Kyle will remain fed up with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) putting Phyllis first, he’ll insist his mind is made up about separating and Summer moving out.

At the GCAC on Friday’s Y&R episode, Summer will find Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and push for updates on his private meeting with Phyllis.

Even if Phyllis can find a way to come back, Summer will insist there’ll be collateral damage and will hint about needing a lawyer of her own.

Michael won’t be happy about Summer speaking to Detective Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) about possible charges and will advise against doing that next time – even if she thinks it’s in a friendly context.

Summer will also mention that she may need a divorce lawyer since Kyle pushed her to move out, but Michael will hold out hope that he’ll forgive her.

When Audra comes downstairs, she’ll decide to mess with Summer a bit by interrupting her discussion. Audra will exchange introductions with Michael and turn on the phony charm as usual.

As for Summer, Audra will talk about how devastating Phyllis’ demise was, but she’ll act like it’s quite the twist that Phyllis is miraculously alive now.

Audra will suggest it’s great that Summer has her husband and family to lean on in the midst of all this, but Summer will ask if there’s something Audra wants.

While Summer scowls, Audra will claim she just wanted to offer her condolences in case Phyllis really was gone.

After Audra says it was nice to officially meet Michael, she’ll saunter off.

At Crimson Lights, Kyle will run into Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and confess that Summer warned Phyllis before the police could catch her.

After Kyle says Summer is consumed with bringing Phyllis back with minimal charges, he’ll add that she’s trying to smooth things over with him, too.

Mariah will ask if Summer’s actually sorry or just sorry that she got caught.

Kyle will suggest he’s been asking himself the same question and will argue that “Summer is going to Summer.”

Now that Kyle has realized this is who Summer is, he won’t be able to trust that she’ll put their family first.

Since Kyle will feel confident that Phyllis is coming back, he’ll refuse to put Harrison in the middle of the toxicity.

After Kyle says Summer went to Diane of all people for help fixing their marriage, Mariah will admit Summer also came to her.

Although Mariah will think Summer and Kyle still love each other, Kyle will gripe about his wife taking a sledgehammer to the trust they’d built.

When Kyle reveals the separation news, Mariah will ultimately agree he’s doing the right thing. After Mariah leaves, Audra will strut in and greet Kyle with a smile, so he’ll grin back at her.

Back at the Abbott house, Jack will hug Summer and shut down the idea that he could ever hate her.

Summer will be sorry about everything and will want to know how to fix this, but Jack will insist you can’t force forgiveness.

After Jack suggests maybe the separation will be a good thing, Summer will fret over it feeling so final.

When the topic of Marchetti comes up, Summer will worry about how she’s going to keep working with Kyle.

Jack will point out that Summer is the driving creative force of the brand.

If Summer and Kyle can’t handle being a professional team anymore, then Jack will think Kyle may have to be the one to step away.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle and Summer will have a lot to figure out in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
