No matter what issues they might have, family matters to EJ.
Deep down, Stefan and EJ seem to enjoy their rivalry. Although EJ and Stefan have taken it too far at times, they’ve also challenged each other and satisfied their devious DiMera instincts.
This whole Megan situation could open Stefan and EJ’s eyes to how bad things can get when you’re power hungry.
Days spoilers say Stefan will thankfully survive all the Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) engagement party drama while Megan gets wounded instead.
In the aftermath, hypnotized EJ should get his memories back and realize Megan held him captive because he was trying to stop her ghastly scheme.
Stefan may end up thanking EJ for his attempt to stop Megan from taking his life.
Once EJ and Stefan are on better terms, it could lead to a surprise combined wedding.
Stefan and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) are already getting married on July 31, so EJ and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) could piggyback on that ceremony in the spirit of DiMera unity.
We should mention that Nicole and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will kiss during the week of July 3-7, but that won’t change her fate with EJ just yet.
Days spoilers hint that Nicole and EJ will indeed tie the knot at some point, so she may feel guilty for doubting him during the kidnapping crisis and decide to accept his proposal after all.
It makes sense for DOOL to do a double wedding and knock both events out in one fell swoop, so we’ll see if EJ, Nicole, Gabi and Stefan all get married on the same day.
