General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) may be on the path to parenthood. GH fans will recall how Chase pretended to be Bailey Louise Jones’ (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) father once upon a time, so he has experience playing house with Brook Lynn.
However, Chase assured Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) that having kids was a long way off when they discussed the topic back in June.
Although Chase didn’t expect to be a dad anytime soon, Michael hinted that the future has a way of catching up with you sooner than you think!
Of course, Brook Lynn and Chase only recently got back together, but their romance is moving in the right direction now.
It may not be long until we get another love scene that could serve as the moment Brook Lynn gets a bun in the oven.
Then again, it’s possible Chase and Brook Lynn have already been enjoying some offscreen action in the bedroom.
That could speed things along if Brook Lynn ends up dropping some baby drama in Chase’s lap faster than he anticipated.
Right now, Brook Lynn is keeping some shady secrets about her plot with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and the sneaky moves she’s making at Deception.
Although Brook Lynn doesn’t want to be in this terrible position, she feels she has no choice.
That’s because Brook Lynn relied on Tracy to make sure Chase was reinstated as a PCPD detective.
Chase wouldn’t be happy if he knew Brook Lynn got Tracy to essentially bribe his way back on the police force.
The fact that Brook Lynn is committing crimes to cover her tracks will undoubtedly make matters worse.
Brook Lynn is digging an even deeper hole for herself, so Chase may break up with her once all these secrets are exposed.
Naturally, that’s when Brook Lynn may find out she’s expecting Chase’s child.
Brook Lynn’s pregnancy could come at the worst possible time if it happens when Chase is furious and trying to part ways with her permanently.
However, the timing could also turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Even if this pregnancy happens when parenthood is the last thing Chase wants to be thinking about, a baby could be what saves his romance with Brook Lynn in the end.
When you look at it like that, maybe Brook Lynn’s surprise pregnancy will happen at the right time after all!
