The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 10, reveal that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will remain worried about Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) decision to leak news from her personal life.
Summer wasn’t pleased when Daniel admitted he texted Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and offered updates on his sister’s separation from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Phyllis is already a wildcard on any given day, so Summer’s wary of throwing unexpected information at her – especially information that could influence her mom’s behavior in unpredictable ways.
Daniel, on the other hand, hoped that maybe this news would convince Phyllis to return and take responsibility for her actions.
Phyllis definitely played a huge role in tearing Summer and Kyle apart, so she deserves to be held accountable.
It looks like Daniel will get his wish since Phyllis will reach out to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) with an urgent message.
Once Phyllis speaks with Michael about her case, he’ll meet with Summer and Daniel to fill them in.
Y&R spoilers say Michael will shock Daniel and Summer by admitting that Phyllis seems ready to make her comeback.
Perhaps Phyllis will think if she turns herself in, it’ll somehow help Kyle and Summer close the door on the painful chapter they just faced.
Phyllis certainly won’t want Summer to give up on her marriage and will be desperate for a strategy to fix this.
If Phyllis hadn’t schemed and dragged Summer into her drama, her daughter would still be living a happy life with Kyle right now.
You can bet Phyllis will do everything in her power to restore Summer’s happiness, but that may start with surrendering herself to the cops soon.
Of course, Phyllis will probably want to make sure Summer won’t face charges if she comes forward, so she may trust Michael to work that out in advance.
Assuming Summer ends up in the clear, she’ll still fret over the possibility of Phyllis landing in prison for decades.
Part of Summer is angry with Phyllis right now, but another part of her has sympathy and doesn’t want her mom to suffer more than she already has.
Fortunately, Michael is an excellent lawyer and someone who cares deeply about Phyllis, so he’ll pull out all the stops as he fights for his client and friend’s freedom.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis herself may also have some surprises in store, but some setbacks are headed her way, too.
