The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 25, reveals that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will bump into Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at the GCAC, where he’ll rip into her for deliberately making her family suffer with her fake demise.
After Victor mentions Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) seeking his help to find EMT Carson (Walter Belenky), Phyllis will note that somebody else already did what he couldn’t.
Before Phyllis can saunter off, Victor will insist that what she did to Summer was unforgivable and will add that she deserves to pay for it.
At the jazz lounge, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will push Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to just let Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) sign over her portion of Jabot and be done with it.
Ashley won’t want to let Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) drag Jack and the company down, but Tucker will argue that you can’t save a man from drowning when he doesn’t want to be saved.
When Phyllis confronts Tucker about making Carson disappear, he’ll assure her that the EMT is safe and sound at a new location.
Tucker will admit he wasn’t pleased to learn about Phyllis cooking up a plan to potentially put Carson in protective custody.
Phyllis will realize Ashley is in on Tucker’s scheme before he hints that she’ll have to do something to make him have confidence in her again.
Although Tucker won’t know what that something is yet, he’ll taunt Phyllis by suggesting he’ll figure it out or maybe just call the whole thing off.
At Society, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will catch Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) quizzing Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about the Adustus International and Kirsten Incorporated merger, so he’ll make it clear that Chance needs to butt out.
Chance will admit he still thinks Adam’s going to use this merger against Victor somehow, so Adam will bicker with him about his motives.
Sharon will point out that she’ll be there along with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to keep Adam in line, so Adam will suggest they can try.
Afterward, Adam will spot Phyllis at the jazz lounge, but she won’t be in the mood to deal with him.
However, Adam will insist he’s got a legitimate offer to make, so he’ll push Phyllis to build and run his new IT team.
Once Adam mentions that Nick is his new partner on this, he’ll note that it’d be a good way for Phyllis to get back in her ex’s good graces.
Phyllis will insist she’s not interested in anything Adam has to offer.
In fact, Phyllis will contend that she’s not interested in employment at all right now since she’s just trying to save her life.
Meanwhile, Nick will show up at Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) door with flowers and welcome her home from a trip to see her sister and grandmother in Los Angeles.
Sally will feel like she’s taking the first steps toward healing and will get updates on Nick agreeing to join forces with Adam and Sharon.
Once Sally and Nick head downstairs for a meal, they’ll join Victor’s table at his request.
Victor will offer his condolences to Sally and admit he’s impressed with the way she’s been handling everything.
It’ll be Victor’s way of building up to a job offer, so he’ll reveal that he’d like for Sally to create a Newman design division where money is no object – and there’ll be plenty of office space.
Since Sally and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) already made a commitment to Chancellor-Winters, Sally won’t want to bail on that and will need time to mull over Victor’s offer.
After Victor tells Sally to take all the time she needs, he’ll point out that he’d want her to work exclusively for Newman Enterprises if the offer’s accepted.
Once Sally decides to just get room service upstairs, Nick will hang back to quiz Victor about whether this is some sort of manipulation, but Victor will act like he did a nice thing.
After Sally flashes back to telling Adam that she’d never let the Newmans sign her checks again, she’ll seem deep in thought.
Once Sally is alone in her room, Adam will knock on her door and wonder if she’s in there. After Adam gives up and walks off, he’ll cross paths with a curious Nick as he goes down the hallway.
At Crimson Lights, Chance won’t want to waste any more of his night with Sharon talking about Adam.
All Chance will want for Sharon is for her to be happy and successful, so she’ll think she’s well on her way to achieving both.
After Chance puts some money in the jukebox, he’ll share a dance with Sharon as they enjoy a close moment.
At the Abbott house, Jack will refuse to let Diane walk away from Jabot, so she’ll eventually hint about a plan where Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) plays dirty for them as a Trojan horse.
When Ashley and Tucker arrive, Jack will warn that he’s changed his mind about caving in.
After Jack suggests a “sibling divorce,” Ashley will call him pathetic for putting Diane above everyone else.
Jack will fire back that he’s not the one trying to tear their family legacy in two.
Once Jack offers one last chance, he’ll ask if Ashley’s going to be reasonable or if they’re going to have an Abbott family war.
Ashley will tell Jack to bring it on, so he’ll eventually call Billy to set up a meeting about the new plan they’re cooking up.
Tuesday’s Y&R episode will also bring some leaked news from Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton), who’ll air all the dirty laundry about Diane, Phyllis, the family feud and Summer’s potential divorce from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
After Leanna does her report and mentions Phyllis likely landing in the slammer, Phyllis will look pensive alone in her GCAC suite.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will continue to have a lot on her mind with her trial coming up, so stay tuned.
