The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Abby Newman-Abbott’s (Melissa Ordway) analysis may be spot-on when it comes to her angry mother. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is totally consumed by her hatred of Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters), but there may be a deeper reason for all her rage.
Abby feels like Ashley is actually mad at herself for her own complicated feelings for Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Deep down, Ashley has to know she’s a hypocrite since she’s judging Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for the exact same situation.
Jack fell in love with Diane despite her past mistakes and all the trust issues. It meant taking a leap of faith – just like the one Ashley’s having to take with untrustworthy Tucker.
Honestly, Ashley’s fury seems over the top since Diane already got the prize!
Diane has always been obsessed with Jack, so why would she set out to destroy Jabot and the people he cares about?
Diane would probably be content to enjoy her status as Jack’s wife and Jabot’s chief talent officer if Ashley would just sit down and shut up!
The only reason Diane is scheming now is because Ashley is provoking her into it.
There’s nothing that matters more to Diane than holding onto Jack, so it’s just tough to buy Ashley’s view of her being some sort of evil corporate mastermind.
It seems like Abby’s right about Ashley’s imminent marriage to Tucker being the real problem.
Abby may keep pushing until Ashley finally admits she’s scared of committing to Tucker again.
Jack and Diane recently tied the knot, so Y&R spoilers say Tucker and Ashley are up next.
Abby offered to host the nuptials at the Chancellor mansion, but there may not be a marriage ceremony after all.
It’s easy to imagine Ashley becoming a runaway bride and leaving Tucker on their wedding day.
Perhaps Tucker will become a devastated groom after Ashley decides she can’t go through with this.
