The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, August 17, indicates that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will talk to Eric Forrester (John McCook) about all the latest family drama, so they’ll no doubt hope that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is going to be OK.
Although things remain up in the air regarding Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) marriage, Ridge is quite certain about his own romantic future.
There’s nothing Ridge wants more than to make Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) his wife again and make it last forever this time.
Of course, “forever” rarely happens on a soap, but we’ll let Ridge delude himself into believing that his latest reunion with Brooke will stick!
Ridge may also mention to Eric that Brooke rejected his wedding dress sketches and that she plans to surprise him with her own vision of the perfect gown.
It’ll be interesting to see what Brooke comes up with, but Eric and Ridge will team up on a different goal in Thursday’s B&B episode.
There’ll be some reason for Ridge and Eric to collaborate, so we’ll see if that still relates to the wedding somehow or if this simply involves a new collection.
At the Forrester mansion, one lucky little girl will receive the party of her dreams.
It appears Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) will get a birthday adjustment since she was actually born in January, but the show apparently plans to pretend it’s time to celebrate now.
Beth will dress up like a mermaid along with Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay), so they’ll share some cute moments with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) as the party fun plays out.
There’ll be some great pink and blue decorations all over Eric’s home, so Donna may take credit for decking the place out. It turns out Donna will have a surprise for Beth and Kelly, so they’re sure to love it.
Brooke, Katie Logan (Heather Tom), Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will all be in attendance as well.
Although everyone will plaster on a smile for the sake of the kids, there could still be some tension for the grownups – particularly Hope and Liam since they recently signed divorce papers.
Liam and Hope will have to give the children updates on their official split eventually, but it’d be better to wait until after the party to avoid raining on Beth’s parade!
