The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is long overdue for a win after all the setbacks he’s faced lately. Although Adam played dirty by blackmailing Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has done far worse over the years.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) would probably be celebrated for her ruthless business tactics if she tried to do something similar.
Victor just seems determined to never shut Adam down at every turn, but many Y&R fans are ready to see Adam pull off a victory for once.
It’d be quite the twist if Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) were finally the person to help Adam achieve that, so let’s talk about how that possibility might become reality.
What Adam wants more than anything right now is to gain control of Newman Media and make it part of an SNA Media (formerly Adustus) merger.
Even Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) feel like Victor is mostly saying no just to thwart Adam.
Of course, Sally could be feeling vengeful after Victor’s decision to ditch the design division he offered to let her run.
Victor’s choice to snatch away that opportunity in the August 17 episode was a low blow, especially since he essentially sabotaged Sally’s other employment at Chancellor-Winters and left her jobless.
This could lead to Sally getting a firsthand look at how Victor operates and deciding to go after a little payback.
Sally would never do anything to hurt Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) family business or destroy what he’s building with Adam and Sharon, but there are other paths to vengeance.
If nothing else, Sally might resolve to help Adam get the Newman Media control he wants.
Sally might finally understand how Adam feels and determine that someone should get what they want despite Victor’s roadblocks – even if that someone is Adam.
This could lead to Sally joining Adam, Nick and Sally in a new position on their team.
Sally could do her part to help Adam take charge of Newman Media for himself again and perhaps dust off some of her old scheming strategies.
Although Sally feels she’s grown as a person since her manipulative days, the old Sally is still in there somewhere.
Sally might come up with some new ideas to use against Audra as well as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
It’d be fun to see Sally’s sneaky spark once more, especially if it leads to revenge on Victor in some way.
Sally might make Victor pay by forcing him to finally give Adam the win he deserves.
