Kyle might grow concerned about losing Harrison in a custody showdown if Tara hires someone who’s never lost a case.
It’d be easy to paint Kyle in a poor light and make it seem like he’s an irresponsible single father who’s only focused on sleeping around.
Kyle might have to rein it in and play the part of the devoted family man again for custody’s sake.
To make sure Tara doesn’t score custody for herself, would Summer agree to stay married to Kyle?
Perhaps Summer and Kyle could pretend to be a happy united couple in front of a judge.
Of course, this could turn into a “fake it until you make it” situation if it leads to Kyle and Summer genuinely patching things up.
Regardless, Tara’s return is inevitable – and when it happens, she’s going to want her son back.
Kyle will stand a better chance of going up against Tara in court if he’s got a wife and an adoring stepmother for Harrison.
Summer indeed loves Harrison just as much as if he were her own flesh and blood.
You can bet Summer would play the part of a loyal spouse if she thought it’d be helpful to Harrison in a court feud.
