The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, September 14, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was all for Eric Forrester (John McCook) mentoring RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman), but he thought that’s the kind of thing Eric should be doing instead of starting a collection they didn’t need.
Ridge told Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) that maybe Eric should start a school or something and planned to talk his father out of this grand finale collection with love and kindness.
Brooke felt the tricky part would be RJ since they didn’t want to discourage him from designing.
This could be an exciting new chapter in RJ’s life, so Brooke felt like they had to proceed with caution.
At the Forrester mansion on Thursday’s B&B episode, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) reminded Eric about his upcoming call with a longtime supplier, so he said it was nice to meet Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) before he left.
Once Luna was alone with RJ, she hoped he didn’t mind her watching him work.
RJ lied that he didn’t notice and got a compliment since Luna thought his newest design was amazing.
After RJ reflected on growing up in the world of fashion, Luna commented on how normal he still seemed. Although Luna didn’t really know RJ, she felt like she did since she’d seen so much of his content online.
Luna panicked a bit when RJ tried to look her up online, but he only found a private profile and was intrigued over her being a woman of mystery.
Later, RJ spoke with Ginge (Oliver Bell) the intern at the office.
Ginge asked when RJ was going to post some new content online since it’d been a week, so RJ admitted he’d been busy.
RJ also talked to Brooke, who mentioned that Ridge was concerned about the toll that a new line could take on Eric.
After RJ argued that Eric would have his help, Brooke acknowledged how happy she was about RJ designing – and so was Ridge.
Brooke just hoped that RJ’s decision to work with his grandfather didn’t come at the expense of Ridge’s relationship with Eric.
Back at Eric’s place, Ridge showed up and checked out the latest designs.
Eric got snippy and assumed Ridge was going to give him notes, but Ridge insisted he was happy his dad got RJ into designing.
Although Ridge pitched the idea of collaborating with Eric, RJ and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), Eric wanted something that was his own.
Once Eric talked about needing the limelight and stress of it all, he made it clear that he wasn’t backing down on his grand finale line.
Ridge finally surrendered and decided that Eric would do his collection while Ridge did one as well. After Ridge suggested they’d let the buyers decide on the runway, Eric shook on that deal.
In the design office back at Forrester Creations, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) interrupted Thomas right as he was thinking about one of their previous passionate encounters.
After Hope said she wanted to try a gown on and get Thomas’ thoughts, she locked the door and seductively stripped in front of him before donning the dress.
Hope and Thomas could barely get through the fitting since there was so much attraction between them. Once Hope talked about not having to hide it anymore, she made out with Thomas.
As they began to remove their clothes, Hope sought confirmation that Thomas could handle this. Thomas reassured Hope with a nod before their passion escalated even further.
