The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, October 13, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) continued to reel over Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) involvement with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and asked why Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) wasn’t more shocked.
Ridge admitted that he knew already, but he clarified that he thought Deacon was done with Sheila.
Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) asked how Ridge found out, but Brooke also wanted to know why Ridge didn’t tell them about this.
Ridge explained how Deacon helped put Sheila away when he was working with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), so Hope argued that maybe they could’ve prevented this if Ridge had come clean sooner.
Hope felt like maybe Brooke could get through to Deacon, so she asked her mom to try and open his eyes.
Brooke declared that “this ends today” and headed over to Deacon’s apartment, but Ridge insisted on going with her for protection since Sheila would be there.
At home, Deacon worried he might’ve lost Hope, but he assured Sheila that life was too short for regrets.
Sheila tried to distract Deacon with some passion and hinted for him to join her in the bath.
Once Brooke arrived with Ridge, she asked if Deacon had lost his mind.
Brooke felt it was appalling for Deacon to throw his life away over some sociopath like Sheila Carter – and suddenly Sheila emerged from the bathroom to join the conversation.
After Brooke called Sheila a monster, she warned that Sheila would take Deacon’s status, restaurant and relationship with Hope.
Brooke argued that Deacon shouldn’t let Sheila cause any more damage than she already had.
Ridge piped up about how Deacon had sworn to him that he’d had no contact with Sheila.
Deacon countered that Ridge lied when he promised not to tell anyone and then told Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) anyway.
Sheila pointed out that sometimes the heart wants what it wants, and Deacon added that everyone deserved a chance at rehabilitation.
Since Brooke was so proud of everything Deacon had accomplished, she pushed him to end things with Sheila – and she warned him to do it today!
At Forrester Creations, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) hoped Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) wouldn’t be mad over what he’d done.
Luna got updates on RJ summoning John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) right before Finn walked in the design office.
After Luna reminded Finn that she was his cousin on Friday’s B&B episode, he remembered her and excitedly pulled her into a hug.
Finn hadn’t seen Luna since she was in grade school, but he was delighted to reconnect and thought it was fantastic that she was working at Forrester.
Luna admitted Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) didn’t think so, which is why RJ wanted to talk to him.
After Luna talked about Li being the reason why they hadn’t seen each other in so long, she said Li was hyper-protective of Finn.
Li hadn’t been allowing Luna or Poppy (Romy Park) to be part of Finn’s life in Los Angeles, so Finn seemed troubled by that news.
RJ didn’t think it was Li’s call when it came to whether Luna worked at Forrester, so he hoped Finn could talk to his mom.
Finn admitted Li could be a little intense, so RJ hoped Finn could back Luna up and get Li to understand.
For the record, RJ insisted that Luna was NOT leaving Forrester Creations.
Luna mentioned how she used to look up to Finn when they were younger and recalled when he used to climb a tree in the backyard.
Finn had to get to work, but he agreed to talk to his mom before hugging Luna again and shaking RJ’s hand.
Once Finn was gone, Luna thanked RJ for knowing exactly what she needed since she wanted to see Finn so badly – though she couldn’t say the same about Aunt Li.
RJ confessed that he’d summoned Li too since he felt Luna needed to speak with her, so Li showed up soon after.
That led to RJ standing up to Li and insisting that he didn’t understand why she was treating Luna so poorly.
Li snapped that it was a family matter and none of RJ’s business, but he argued that Forrester Creations was his business and that Luna was welcome there.
RJ pointed out that Ridge and Eric Forrester (John McCook) agreed before adding that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would agree, too.
After RJ said Luna wasn’t going anywhere, Li got confirmation that she wrote the letter of resignation and reiterated that she was leaving today.
In the main office, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) wondered what the heck Deacon was thinking and caught Hope distracted a few times as he adjusted a dress.
Hope’s mind wandered back to Finn and Brooke thinking she deserved better than Thomas, so she seemed uncomfortable around him.
However, Thomas assured Hope of his love, commitment and unconditional support, which seemed to get Hope all turned on since she dove in for some passionate kisses.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will remain torn between her desire for total devotion and her belief that a better man might be out there for her.
