The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers Monday, October 23, reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will face more pressure to stop the painful games he’s playing. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) doesn’t approve of Victor’s methods when it comes to challenging his children and trying to figure out who’ll betray him.
However, Victor will feel confident that his strategy will get him a fast and definitive result. Despite all the drama he’s causing within his fake mental deterioration, Victor will refuse to back down.
Nikki may threaten to tell the whole family what Victor’s up to if this goes on too long, but he’ll reassure her with a promise.
Victor will vow to expose the disloyalty that he suspects and wrap this up ASAP, so Nikki will apparently let it slide a little longer.
In the meantime, Y&R spoilers say Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will stir up some trouble.
There’ll be a situation where Nick sends mixed messages, so a confused Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) could be on the receiving end of those.
It’s possible Sally will run into Nick and sense that he’s dealing with something he needs to get off his chest.
Nick might open up a bit about Victor – only to pull away again and remind Sally that they’re over.
Once Nick uses Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) as a confidant instead, that could add to Sally’s heartache.
Sally may worry that Sharon and Nick could be on the verge of a romantic reunion.
Although Sally doesn’t get a say in what Nick does now that they’re both single, watching him bond with his ex-wife could still sting.
As for Nick’s role in the Newman family crisis, he’ll be the one to first figure out that Victor’s only pretending to lose his mind.
The clues will finally add up to deception for Nick, who’ll blast Victor over the scheme and demand answers at some point during the week of October 23-27.
Nick will understandably be livid with Victor for fooling him along with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so he’ll angrily give Sharon updates once he solves the puzzle.
