The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that the show may be setting Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) up for a downfall. Audra is constantly scheming and seems to think she’s always the smartest person in the room, but she may find herself alone and jobless down the road.
Y&R fans know Audra is the COO of Newman Media, but that gig is awfully fragile.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) doesn’t like Audra much anyway – not to mention Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) is impressing Nikki like crazy and seems eager to rise in the ranks.
Audra realizes her position at Newman Media may not be secure, so she’s wisely exploring other options. Unfortunately, Audra isn’t being so smart about which options she pursues!
Now Audra is part of an alliance with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but that alliance seems destined to fail.
Let’s face it: Tucker doesn’t have a great track record when it comes to schemes. Since all of Tucker’s plans seem to end in catastrophe, what makes Audra think this time will be any different?
It’s just tough to believe that Tucker will successfully take over Jabot or that Audra will end up on the throne.
That’s especially true since Kyle confessed in the October 31 episode that he’d take Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) job and bail on his Audra alliance if Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) changed his mind.
This partnership with Audra wouldn’t hold Kyle back from doing that. Kyle would simply turn Audra into an enemy and plot to destroy her along with Tucker.
What happens if Kyle indeed makes an enemy out of Audra since that’s what the dialogue seems to be hinting at?
Audra just might have to go after revenge, especially if she loses everything and hits rock bottom.
It’s easy to imagine Audra losing her job at Newman Media before losing her backup option at Jabot once this takeover plot flops.
Of course, Audra is also falling hard for Kyle whether she wants to admit it or not. If Kyle and Audra are headed into enemy territory, that could make Audra lose her chance at love, too.
Audra’s vengeful side may rise up once she has this downfall, which could leave her craving payback on Kyle and anyone else who she feels has wronged her.
