Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, December 4, reveals that Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) opened his door to Darius Rose aka Jackie Cox (Jackie Cox), who reminded him of their first meeting on DOOL: Beyond Salem.
Darius was holding a grudge against, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), who was supposed to get Darius a green card until he abandoned their marriage scheme to go chasing after Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas).
Although Darius hoped to get the reward for Leo and have him thrown behind bars, Leo got himself caught before Darius had the chance. Now Darius planned to make sure Leo stayed alone and miserable in jail, which meant offering Dimitri a ticket to freedom.
It turns out Darius had a car waiting to “zoom-zoom” Dimitri across the Canadian border. The plan was for Dimitri to dress in drag and become “Diane von Fabulous” so that the cops wouldn’t recognize him.
Despite Darius’ tempting pitch, Dimitri refused to bail on Leo and ultimately headed to the police station since Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) was working out a deal – one that would allow Leo to go free if Dimitri turned himself in.
At the hospital, Nicole Walker-DiMera (Arianne Zucker) gushed over how excited she was to get the DNA results, which she felt confident would prove Sloan and Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) adopted baby was her son.
Nicole eventually realized she was being selfish and not considering Eric’s feelings, but he insisted it was fine since he didn’t really believe the DNA results would prove her claims.
That news riled Nicole up since she felt like Eric was acting like she was crazy. Eric didn’t see how it’d even be possible, but Nicole snapped about his conniving wife and acted like Sloan could’ve easily pulled this off.
Nicole said she’d stay in Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) office with the baby while Eric checked on the DNA results, but Eric angrily insisted on taking the infant with him.
At the Salem PD, Sloan met with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and pushed him to trade Leo for Dimitri since he was the big fish here. The only catch was that the murder charge had to be kept off the table.
Since EJ still had plenty of other crimes he could use against Dimitri, he caved in and had the paperwork drawn up.
It took some convincing to get Leo on board, but Sloan insisted Dimitri genuinely wanted to make this sacrifice for Leo. It meant Dimitri would have to do time behind bars instead, but Sloan played it up as an act of love and got Leo to agree.
However, Sloan flipped out when she got a call from Eric about the DNA test that was happening.
Although Sloan insisted she didn’t agree to an unnecessary procedure, Eric insisted the baby was fine and acted like this would clear things up for Nicole once and for all.
Once Sloan disconnected, she told Leo to sign the deal EJ brought him. In the meantime, Sloan had to go take care of an emergency or else her life was over!
After Leo signed EJ’s papers, he wondered if he was free to go. EJ said not until Leo’s boyfriend showed up and expressed doubt that Dimitri would actually come, but Dimitri indeed walked in moments later.
Back at the hospital on Monday’s Days show, Sloan confronted Nicole in Kayla’s office and started ranting about the DNA test.
Nicole commented on how Sloan rushed over there like a “bat out of hell” and assumed it was because Sloan’s secret was about to come out.
Sloan tried to protest and make excuses, but Nicole made it clear that this wasn’t her first rodeo.
Eric eventually returned with the baby and the DNA test results, so Sloan realized she was too late to stop him from getting his hands on them.
In the town square on Monday’s Days episode, Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) stalled Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) for as long as he could, but Chanel eventually made her way back to the pub.
Although Tate texted Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) to give her a heads-up, Holly ignored the message since Johnny wanted to speak to her about something while Chanel wasn’t around.
Holly seemed hopeful until Johnny admitted he wanted her help planning an anniversary surprise for Chanel.
When Holly brought up Johnny’s divorce, he insisted that never should’ve happened and wanted a woman’s touch planning something special. Johnny thought Holly would be the perfect person for the job, so she awkwardly agreed.
Next on Monday’s Days episode, Chanel came back right as Holly put her hand on top of Johnny’s. While Johnny stepped away for a phone call, Chanel called Holly out on her crush.
Holly tried to play dumb, but Chanel thought it was obvious that Holly was into Johnny. Of course, Chanel insisted nothing could ever happen since Johnny was too old for Holly and was her stepbrother.
Chanel also pointed out that Johnny was committed to her instead, so she hoped Holly could see that there was no way she could ever be with him.
Holly argued that Chanel was way off base and lied about having a crush on Tate instead. Chanel was confused, but Holly said Tate had rejected her because Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) wouldn’t let him have much of a social life since he’d been in trouble.
Once Johnny and Tate appeared, Holly said she was just telling Chanel how she couldn’t be with Tate since Brady wouldn’t allow him to date.
Tate piped that actually he didn’t care what Brady thought anymore and put an arm around Holly, who clearly wasn’t pleased over this development.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Holly’s feelings about Tate will change in the not-too-distant future, so stick with us for updates on their teen love story. CDL’s where you want to be for exciting Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news, so stop by regularly for more DOOL info.
