Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 6, reveals that Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) came home from Hong Kong and broke down in tears over how hard it was to get through Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) memorial service.
Wendy took some comfort in knowing Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) was behind bars, but she couldn’t feel Li was truly avenged until there was a conviction.
Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) distracted Wendy with a game of poker before satisfying her needs in the bedroom, so she was grateful for his support.
At The Bistro on Wednesday’s Days episode, Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) whipped up a special seafood pasta dish for Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), who joked about their whole romantic future riding on this first date going well.
Ava offered her approval on the pasta, but Harris ruined the mood a bit by bringing up work and beating himself up over the missing keys.
There was also talk about Harris’ plan to take down the new drug cartel in town, so Ava tried to play it cool despite the secrets she was keeping.
Harris eventually got their evening back track by playing some music and treating Ava to a dance. When Harris asked if there’d be another date, she gave him a big kiss as her answer.
At the Salem PD on Wednesday’s DOOL show, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) spoke to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) about the possibility that she was to blame for the room going missing.
Jada thought she saw the drug stash while she was in the evidence room and believed she locked the door, but she couldn’t be sure about that last part. Rafe pointed out that Harris lost his keys around the same time and still thought they could’ve been used to sneak in.
Once Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) came blowing in, she scolded Rafe and Jada for letting evidence disappear – especially since it led to that drug dealer going free.
Paulina was disappointed since she wanted to get to the guy’s boss, but Rafe offered reassurance about bringing down the new drug cartel if there was one.
Afterward on Wednesday’s Days episode, Rafe helped Jada decorate a tiny Christmas tree back at her place. The pair wound up hitting the sheets before Rafe admitted that he loved Jada – and Jada confessed that she loved him, too.
In Everett Lynch’s (Blake Berris) suite, he spoke with Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) over the phone and learned she recently sold her half of The Spectator, but she wouldn’t say who bought it.
Everett gave Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) updates on the news when she arrived, so they decided to dig online and make some phone calls since the sale had to be a matter of public record.
Everett ultimately found out that Flynn Industries was behind the purchase, but he assumed it was a shell company since he couldn’t find any other information about it.
Stephanie called Uncle Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) and asked him to look into this as a favor, so he vowed to email the name of the person associated with the purchase and this company.
After Everett hugged Stephanie awkwardly and thanked her for the help, his laptop dinged with an email notification. Everett tried to hide the info he’d received, but Stephanie said she could just call Shane back and ask him.
Once Everett relented on Wednesday’s Days episode, she fumed when she realized Chad was behind all this.
In a moment alone, Everett seemed smug and hopeful as he declared that maybe Chad wasn’t the man that Stephanie thought he was.
In the town square, Stefan was muttering about “that bastard” and his fatal plans when Chad overheard. Chad thought Stefan meant EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), but he also assumed Stefan wasn’t literally planning EJ’s grim fate.
Stefan played along and suggested he was furious with EJ for putting Gabi behind bars, but Chad argued that all the evidence pointed at her.
Stefan finally insisted he was just worried about Gabi, who was beaten within an inch of her life the last time she got thrown in Statesville.
Chad understood what it was like to do drastic things in the name of love and flashed back to discussing his deal with Gwen over the phone.
Stefan quizzed Chad about what drastic things he’d done, but Chad just mentioned how he almost wiped Clyde Weston (James Read) off the map.
When Stefan wished that Chad had indeed eliminated Clyde, it confused Chad since the comment seemed personal.
Stefan just acted like he cared for Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) too and didn’t want to see Clyde hurt anyone else. Once Stefan insisted Clyde should be burning in hell, Chad said that was something they could agree on.
Chad wanted to get to The Bistro and pick up some takeout, but Stefan said it was closed to the owner’s untimely demise. After Chad hoped it wouldn’t be shut down permanently, Stefan admitted it wouldn’t since he bought it.
Chad thought that was suspicious since Stefan just took over DiMera Enterprises and had a wife in prison, but Stefan acted like he needed the distraction.
Once Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) called Stefan back, she refused to order Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) to take out Clyde.
Stefan tried to explain the danger to Gabi and pointed out his drug business dilemma, but Vivian acted like he should just get over Gabi and move on.
After Stefan angrily hung up, he remained determined to find a way to end Clyde.
Back with Stephanie, she found Chad and learned he was just about to text her. Stephanie asked what Chad wanted to text her about and asked if he was going to tell her he secretly bought half The Spectator to fire Everett.
Chad looked guilty as Stephanie confronted him, so Days of Our Lives spoilers say he’ll have some explaining to do soon enough. CDL’s where you want to be for great Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news, so make us your favorite DOOL hotspot.
