Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 13, reveals that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) ranted at Clyde Weston (James Read) over the phone, but Clyde made it clear that he’d “go nuclear” if Stefan didn’t keep cooperating.
At the Bistro, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) did her best to get rid of Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) ahead of the reopening, but he definitely noticed how nervous she was.
Once Stefan interrupted on Wednesday’s Days episode, he spoke with Ava alone and insisted he had bad news.
Now Clyde wanted to move product out of the back of the restaurant, so that obviously raised the stakes for Ava and Stefan.
Ava insisted she wouldn’t do it, but Stefan didn’t think they had a choice. However, Stefan made it clear that he still planned to take Clyde out permanently.
At one point, Stefan made a comment about the underbelly of crime, so it reminded Ava of Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash).
Ava missed Jake and accidentally called Stefan by his brother’s name during the conversation.
Stefan mentioned Ava’s romance with Harris and acted like it wasn’t a good idea since he was a cop, but she didn’t want a lecture on her love life.
Ava noted that Stefan wasn’t kind and generous like Jake had been, but Stefan thought that was good since they were going up against Clyde.
Although Ava hoped maybe Clyde was bluffing about moving product out of The Bistro, a guy eventually showed up claiming he had six cases of tomatoes.
Ava said there must be some mistake since they were all stocked up, but the man insisted this was a delivery from Clyde.
At The Spectator, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) made it clear to Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) that he planned to be a very hands-on boss and could be ruthless if necessary.
Everett assumed Chad would try to get him to walk away from the job and was skeptical about Chad’s knowledge of how to run a newspaper.
There was also some talk about Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) moving out, so Everett said he was sorry before ultimately admitting he wasn’t.
Chad took a call from an angry Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher), who didn’t have any snack money since it was supposed to be set up through his account at school.
After Thomas hung up, Chad confessed to Everett that Stephanie handled a lot of the kids’ school stuff and that they’d become attached to her.
Everett knew that they both wanted Stephanie to be happy and for the paper to succeed, so he suggested maybe they could try being civil at work.
As they tried to find common ground, Everett mentioned how he admired Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) articles and said he wrote her a fan letter once.
Chad seemed open to tolerating each other, but he warned Everett that he’d be taking his desk and urged him to move his stuff elsewhere. As Chad left, he called Everett “champ” and strutted out.
At the pub on Wednesday’s Days episode, Stephanie and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) did some day drinking as they discussed their problematic former flames.
That brought some laughs and Stephanie’s realization that she didn’t know much about Jada’s ex-husband.
Jada was about to show Stephanie a pic when Harris interrupted, so they got sidetracked and convinced him to join them for a beer.
Stephanie was getting pretty drunk at this point, so she flirted with “Harry” and left him a bit uncomfortable.
Jada was getting tipsy and having fun, but she wasn’t quite at the same level as Stephanie.
Although Jada thought maybe Stephanie should slow down, Stephanie took Jada’s drink instead and prepared to guzzle it next.
In the park on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) had her kidnapper hoodie in a garbage bag as she struggled to stuff it into the trash can.
When Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) appeared with Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann), Theresa covered by acting like she accidentally tossed her phone in the can with her coffee cup and was retrieving it.
Brady accepted that explanation and complained about Theresa not coming through with Tate’s immunization records.
Brady didn’t know the name of Tate’s doctor, but he needed the proper documents if they were going to jump on the chance to re-enroll Tate.
It took a lot of work for Brady to convince the boarding school to give Tate another chance.
As Brady and Theresa argued, Tate put his headphones in and obviously didn’t like all the fighting.
Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) came along to defend Theresa, who later took him to a Christmas tree farm.
Alex didn’t have the proper holiday decorations once they returned home, but Theresa helped him improvise as they opened up about their childhood memories and being outsiders in their families.
Once Alex corrected himself on who his dad was and called Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) by his real name, Theresa kissed him to shut him up and got him to make love to her on the floor.
In the town square on Wednesday’s Days episode, Tate griped over Brady badmouthing Theresa and got his dad to promise he wouldn’t talk about her.
Tate thought maybe Theresa didn’t want him to go back to boarding school and said maybe didn’t want to go either!
Brady didn’t even think to ask his son, so Tate grumbled about that.
After Brady figured out Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) was part of why Tate wanted to stay, Tate admitted that Holly agreed to a date and had been blowing him off.
Brady hinted that they could fix that and handed over his gold card so that Tate could have fun with Holly.
Once Tate thanked Brady excitedly, he left Holly a voicemail about the gold card and wondered if she was free for that date tonight.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Holly will get Tate into all kinds of trouble soon, so stay tuned for updates on all the turmoil.
