General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 14, reveals that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) met up with Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at the Metro Court, where they had a special dinner to celebrate Donna’s amazing report card.
Donna was tired of being the youngest sibling, so she wondered when Sonny and Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) were going to have a baby.
Sonny said that wasn’t in the cards for a lot of reasons, but he convinced Donna that being the youngest could be special.
While Donna was off getting a dessert sample with Trish (Trish Ramish), Sonny quizzed Kristina about her life and noticed she wasn’t offering any personal details.
Although Sonny thought Kristina should make time for fun, she hinted about other priorities and said fun could come later.
Sonny wondered what he was missing, so Kristina came clean about deciding to be Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) surrogate.
Since Kristina would be putting her own life on hold for nine months, Sonny asked what her “singer friend” thought about that.
Sonny mentioned that Kristina lit up around Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) in Puerto Rico and suggested he’d be happy for her if that turned into something.
Nearby, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) had a flirty dinner date with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) before inviting him back to her place to stay the night.
Robert indeed went home with Diane, so they kissed and giggled as they shut the door behind them.
At Café Cherie, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) gave Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) updates on Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) engagement to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Alexis also opened up to Gregory about her concerns regarding Kristina serving as Molly and TJ’s surrogate, but he offered hope that maybe it’d all work out.
At the hospital, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) privately asked Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) if she ever regretted moving in with Irene Ashford (Cheryl Francis Harrington) and altering the course of her life to support her sister.
Stella insisted she could never regret stepping up for Irene and being there for her nephews.
That led to TJ confiding his fears about Kristina realizing the surrogacy would be too much and bailing on them. It’d break Molly’s heart and TJ’s heart, too.
Stella felt that the bond between sisters could be a powerful thing, so she pushed TJ to trust that bond and trust Kristina to see this through.
Over with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), she told Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) that Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) wanted to see him in her office.
Finn expressed concern to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) before joining Monica along with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who was there to represent the hospital board.
There was talk about the hospital potentially settling to avoid a trial, which would leave Finn as the sole defendant.
Finn explained the details of Mr. Muldoon’s case and made it clear that it wasn’t a case of negligence.
Next, Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) fished for malpractice lawsuit information from Portia, who scolded her for gossiping and pushed for discretion.
However, Amy revealed her reason for pestering when she talked to Liz later.
Since Amy was a nurse on Mr. Muldoon’s case, she was uncertain of how to handle her part in the deposition.
Liz suggested it was simple and said Amy just had to tell the truth.
After discussing things with Monica, Tracy found Finn and revealed that her recommendation to the board would be for GH to back Finn in the proceedings. There was no sign of negligence, so the hospital wouldn’t settle.
That news was a relief to Finn since the hospital’s settlement would’ve implied that he was guilty. Finn was grateful and told Tracy that he’d never forget this.
Back in Monica’s office, she met with Dede Clark (Shelley Robertson), the hospital’s attorney. Monica explained that they weren’t going to settle, but Dede hoped she’d reconsider and think about what was best for GH.
At Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) penthouse, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) dropped off Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), who went to sleep early.
That gave Carly a chance to quiz Ava about Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and the cops’ questions, so Ava quickly got defensive.
Ava stonewalled Carly, who finally surrendered and said Ava didn’t have to talk to her.
However, Carly thought it was obvious that Ava was in over her head, so she pushed Ava to seek Sonny’s help – sooner rather than later for Avery’s sake.
Once Ava was alone, she put the combination in and opened a locked case containing the gun that was left for her.
Ava looked at one of the creepy notes and wondered whether Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) was really back.
General Hospital spoilers say Ava has more shockers ahead of her, so stay tuned!
