The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will be keeping a close eye on Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is out of town.
When Abby caught a glimpse of Heather and Daniel dining together at Society, she immediately feared the worst.
Abby can tell that there’s still a deep connection between Daniel and Heather, so that could bring some dangerous temptation while Lily’s off dealing with family drama.
As a result, Abby might decide to embrace her nosy side and monitor the situation as best as she can.
Heather and Daniel are surely going to kiss at some point, so will Abby be there to witness it when it happens?
Daniel and Heather might think they’re alone when Abby is actually just around the corner.
This would be a great opportunity for Abby to catch Heather and Daniel in the act.
That could also give Abby a chance to score some recorded evidence. It’d be easy for Abby to whip her phone out and film some video proof of what’s happening.
Of course, Heather and Daniel could still hit the sheets behind closed doors, which would take their betrayal even further.
It’ll be interesting to see how far Daniel and Heather ultimately go, but Abby could at least catch a lip lock and make a video without their knowledge.
Abby might be tempted to send that proof to Lily’s phone, but she could show it to Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) first and ask for his opinion.
Devon might feel like he needs to be the one to break the news to Lily in person instead.
Then again, it’s possible Devon could confront Daniel and let him spill his side of the story first.
Whatever the case, Daniel might get busted kissing his ex and have to answer some important questions about his lingering feelings for Heather.
There could be a reason why Abby’s so curious about Heather and Daniel’s relationship.
It feels like Y&R writers are trying to insert Abby into this storyline, so she could be the one to expose Daniel and Heather’s betrayal when the time is right.
