Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Maggie Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) good heart could lead to more trouble. Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) has been taking advantage of Maggie’s generosity as well as her vulnerability since she’s still grieving the loss of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
After Maggie opened her home to Konstantin, she found out several ways he’d been lying to her.
Maggie was kind enough to pay off the debt Konstantin claimed to have since he acted like the Greek mob came after Victoria Cook.
However, Konstantin is scheming to stay in town since he told Maggie that he can’t go back to Greece.
According to Konstantin’s bogus story, he’ll end up a corpse if he goes back home and faces the Greek mafia again.
Konstantin mentioned that his visa could be extended if he married a U.S. citizen, so Days spoilers say he may keep working that angle.
Perhaps Konstantin will drop a few more hints and try to get Maggie to propose marriage to keep him in the country.
Maggie was lost and heartbroken after Victor’s plane crash, so having Konstantin around has lifted her spirits.
Part of Maggie may fear she’ll sink back into that sad, lonely place if Konstantin leaves her now.
Days spoilers say Konstantin may play up his sob story in the coming weeks and hope that Maggie will ultimately pop the question.
It’d be easy for Maggie to blurt out a marriage proposal and insist they should have a quickie wedding to keep Konstantin from facing a grim fate back in Greece.
Of course, DOOL fans know Konstantin is a con man who’s only after Maggie’s money. This is all part of Konstantin’s elaborate plot to get back at Victor and get what he feels he’s owed.
So far, it doesn’t seem like Konstantin has real feelings for Maggie at all. Konstantin is a villain who may become even more sinister as we get closer to his wedding day with Maggie.
Naturally, Days fans will be eager to see if someone will expose the greedy groom before it’s too late!
