General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the show’s been gearing up for an ABC primetime special called “General Hospital: 60 Years of Stars and Storytelling,” which will air at 10:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, January 4. To promote that special, fans have been treated to multiple behind-the-scenes videos on social media.
In one of those videos, many GH stars were asked what their dream storyline would be – and they had some fascinating responses!
For starters, Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford) said he’d like for Curtis to get up and dance again, but then he took it a step further by joking that he’d like to perform a “one-act striptease at the Nurses Ball.”
As for Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), she admitted she’d like for Anna to investigate a serial killer and try to figure out who they are.
Hughes seemed quite interested in Anna solving “a classic whodunit.”
Next, Brook Kerr (Portia Robinson) confessed that she was hoping for a kidnapping and literally crossed her fingers as she wished for it to come true.
Over with Josh Swickard (Harrison Chase), he had a humorous story idea that earned a chuckle from Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) as he listened to Swickard’s pitch.
“I would arrest a bad guy and there would be a burning building where my shirt somehow fell off and I was carrying Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos),” Swickard said jokingly.
Meanwhile, Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) suggested it’d be “an interesting twist” if Alexis became a drivers’ education instructor since she still has her license after running over so many people.
A GH fan named Leslie Mae Hahaku was also featured in the video, so she pitched her dream reunion of Sonny and Brenda Barrett (last played by Vanessa Marcil) getting back together.
Chandra Wilson (Sydney Val Jean) wanted a comeuppance for “Sonny’s new wife” aka Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) – and she’s already getting her wish since Nina’s world is currently in the process of crumbling.
Finally, Sheryl Underwood made an appearance in the video, so she said her dream storyline would be Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) marrying Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) so that Trina could run the Cassadine empire.
Underwood also hoped that maybe she could play Trina’s “wacky friend or cousin or relative.” Although Underwood felt it would never happen, she grinned over wanting to put it out there!
On X (formerly known as Twitter), the GH account offered some hope that maybe Underwood would get that chance someday.
“We’re rooting for you to get your dream, @sherylunderwood … no matter how far fetched,” the account posted under the shared video.
