Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) is receiving treatment at a state-of-the-art facility in Italy, but she’s been through a lot – including multiple seizures. It’s reasonable to think Holly might awaken with some memory issues when she finally comes out of her coma.
Holly may struggle with at least partial amnesia and draw a blank when it comes to all the drug drama that went down on New Year’s Eve.
That could make it impossible for Holly to clear Tate Black’s (Jamie Martin Mann) name – at least when she first wakes up.
If Days really wants to bring the angst, perhaps Holly won’t even remember Tate coming back to Salem from boarding school!
It could really add to the heartbreak for Tate if he’s still wrongfully accused and Holly can’t recall the bond they developed at all.
Of course, Days spoilers say Tate will be glad about Holly regaining consciousness when it finally happens, but he may have to keep dealing with the legal issues of this case.
DOOL fans know Tate isn’t responsible for the drugs Holly got her hands on, but he’s still stuck at a juvenile rehab facility because of how everything played out.
Unfortunately, that won’t change right away if Holly has amnesia upon awakening in Italy.
It may take some time for Holly’s memories to come back to her – especially the memories of her drug overdose and Tate’s lack of involvement in her ordeal.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) will be over the moon once Holly opens her eyes at last.
There was a time when Nicole feared Holly might not survive, so just seeing her daughter looking back at her will be a huge relief.
Holly will make more progress in her recovery once she’s awake and alert, so that’s good news.
With the help of Holly’s doctors and whatever info Nicole might offer, Holly can face a memory flood and save Tate sooner or later.
