Days of Our Lives Recap: Monday, February 5 – Konstantin’s Revenge for Catharina – Tripp & Wendy Bust Stefan

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, February 5, reveals that Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) let something slip to Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) about meddling moms, so he realized something had happened with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).

Once Tripp got Wendy to admit Ava gave her a hard time and questioned her relationship commitment, he was apologetic.

Wendy confessed to turning things around on Ava regarding her feelings for Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), but Ava shut the conversation down.

Tripp and Wendy eventually saw a poster for the geocaching scavenger hunt, which led to Wendy turning Tripp on with all her tech talk.

In bed on Monday’s Days episode, Ava and Stefan agreed that their hookup was both incredible and a mistake.

Stefan scrambled to put his clothes on and tried to blame Ava, but she acted like he was just as responsible for what happened.

The important thing was keeping this a secret – and Stefan felt that was especially true for him since he was married to Gabi Hernandez DiMera (last played by Camila Banus) and had more to lose.

Stefan couldn’t find his shirt in the bedroom, so he was shirtless in the living room with robe-wearing Ava when Tripp and Wendy came home.

That led to Tripp getting all riled up and warning Stefan away from Ava since he didn’t want Stefan using his mom.

After Stefan planted a kiss on Ava and left, Ava refused to discuss any of this with Tripp.

At the DiMera mansion on Monday’s DOOL show, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) cuddled with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and expressed concern about all the DiMera curses that could affect their marriage.

Chanel thought Johnny was just being superstitious, but Johnny reminded her that he’d been possessed by the devil before and suggested bad things could indeed happen.

Chanel worried that there was another reason for Johnny’s concerns, which led to her reassuring him about Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) since she loved Johnny first and last.

After Chanel convinced Johnny that he was more than enough for her, they headed upstairs to hit the sheets.

In Everett Lynch’s (Blake Berris) suite, he reflected on the recurring dream he’d had of reconnecting with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) like this.

Now that Everett’s dream had come true, he never planned to let Stephanie go.

As they enjoyed room service, Everett hinted about getting a place together and picking up where they left off.

Stephanie gently urged Everett to slow down and just live in the moment with her, so he agreed before they landed back under the covers.

At Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) place on Monday’s Days episode, she tested the waters by inviting Abe Carver (James Reynolds) in after their date.

Abe hesitated for a moment, but then he ended up in bed with Paulina for the first time since he lost his memory.

Paulina and Abe were on the same page about enjoying their passionate reconnection, which helped distract Paulina since she was awaiting results from her doctor.

It turns out Paulina had to have another ultrasound since her lump was seemingly getting bigger, so Abe pulled her close and offered support.

In the park on Monday’s Days episode, Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) bickered with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and mentioned that this was about Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) pawn.

John got frustrated enough to draw his weapon and point it at Konstantin as he demanded answers.

Konstantin mentioned that John came at him in Greece, but his beautiful Catharina (Ellie Patrikios) got in the way.

There was a brief flashback of Catharina in Aria at one point, but John had no memory of who she was.

After Konstantin whipped out the red card and asked what it meant, John dropped his head and went into an obedient trance.

John no longer knew his own name and confirmed to Konstantin that he’d been called “The Pawn” before.

That led to Konstantin’s realization that he’d finally found the person responsible for Catharina’s demise – and there must be retribution.

Konstantin tested John’s compliance by having him move a trash can and raise his arm. Then, Konstantin ordered John to take the gun, point it at his head and pull the trigger.

John nearly followed the order, but Konstantin stopped him at the last minute and hinted about John serving another purpose.

Although Konstantin vowed to avenge Catharina, he wanted John to serve as “Konstantin’s Pawn” first.

Konstantin showed the card once more to bring John out of his trance, but he left before John could snap back to reality.

John awoke confused and alone, so he seemed rattled as he tried to make sense of it all.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Konstantin will give John updates on some new orders soon, so that’s sure to lead to troubling news!
