The Young and the Restless Recap: Wednesday, February 7 – Nikki Dares Jordan Over the Phone – Tucker’s Powerhouse Plot

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 7, reveals that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will finally get Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to admit his master plan, which will involve folding five struggling European fragrance and cosmetic companies into Glissade.

Tucker will hope to create one powerhouse company that’s capable of rivaling Jabot, so Audra will worry this is really about showing Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) that she made a mistake.

However, Tucker will insist defeating Jabot is just a bonus and that he’s mostly in it for success and becoming a key player in the corporate world again.

As for Audra, she’ll admit running Glissade would be a dream position. Although Audra will question how they’re going to raise enough capital, Tucker won’t be concerned about that at all.

At Society, Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will greet Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and wonder why she came home alone. Traci will admit Ashley practically forced her, but she’ll mention that Ashley is talking things out with a friend in Paris.

Abby will get updates on Ashley not getting the answer she wanted from the waiter, so Abby will consider the idea that her mom was right about Tucker bribing him.

Tracy won’t think so, especially since she did some digging of her own at the bistro.

It turns out the other witnesses Traci talked to on the waitstaff backed up Tucker’s story and didn’t seem nervous or suspicious.

Traci will admit she hasn’t told Ashley yet and will explain that she wanted Ashley to be surrounded by her friends at home for that part.

At the GCAC, Tucker will spot Traci as he comes downstairs with Audra, so he’ll act like Traci must know by now that he’s right about what happened in Paris.

Traci will make it clear that it doesn’t matter since Tucker isn’t involved with Ashley and doesn’t get to weigh in anymore.

At a table with Audra, Tucker will suggest that the Abbotts exile their outsiders and are codependent on each other.

Audra will think Tucker actually seems sincere this time, so he’ll insist that he is and assure Audra that Ashley is in his past.

After Traci heads to the Abbott mansion, she’ll leave Jack a voicemail and stress the importance of forming a plan to help Ashley cope.

Back at Society on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Abby will also leave a message for Ashley in hopes that she’ll call her back or come home.

At Crimson Lights, Danny Romalotti’s (Michael Damian) conversation with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will be interrupted by Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), so Danny will get caught in the middle of their feud again.

Danny will eventually point out that when he was away, he didn’t have these romantic entanglements.

It’ll leave Danny wondering if maybe that was the right idea since Phyllis keeps pushing her own narrative and Christine keeps taking the bait.

Danny will struggle since he wants to support Phyllis, who can’t accept that it isn’t more than friendship.

As for Christine, Danny will feel like she’s telling him that he can’t be friends with the mother of his son.

In the end, a fed-up Danny will think it’s best if everyone just takes a step back and tries to let things cool off.

After Danny exits, Phyllis and Christine will push each other’s buttons, but Phyllis will warn that she’s not scared of her. Since Phyllis will be ready for war, Christine will urge her to consider the gauntlet thrown!

At The Empty Glass, Nikki will take Jack’s call and relent when he insists on sending her a car.

While Nikki’s waiting, she’ll get a call that’s obviously from Jordan (Colleen Zenk) since stripper music will play again. Drunk Nikki will dare Jordan to come for her and will hint about it being a huge mistake.

After Nikki says she’ll be waiting for Jordan, she’ll stumble before plopping down in another chair and looking out the window.

In Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) office, Jack will come clean about being Nikki’s sponsor since it’s not fair to keep Nikki’s husband out of the loop.

Victor will rant about how Jack’s handled things and will act like he’s been enabling Nikki, but Jack will talk about the progress Nikki’s made in reaching out to him.

Since Nikki doesn’t want to be a burden on Victor, she needs to be able to lean on Jack. It’s a different situation since Nikki doesn’t have to worry about Jack’s feelings.

Jack will push Victor to see that Nikki needs both of them, so Victor will admit he’s concerned about his wife.

Once Jack speaks with Nikki on the phone again, he’ll learn she’s still there and needs help.

Victor and Jack will ultimately head over to The Empty Glass together, so they’ll put Nikki first with some teamwork.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki won’t be pleased once she finds out about Jack spilling the sponsor news, so stay tuned.
