The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, March 8, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was pleased when John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) assured her that he was coming home instead of sleeping at the hospital again.
In the design office, Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) insisted that RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) made such a great couple before urging Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) to agree.
Zende said they sure were something before Luna blurted out that she wasn’t good at this and couldn’t do it.
Poppy piped up that Luna had always been shy about public displays of affection and acted like that was her daughter’s issue.
RJ suggested they could go somewhere more private and planned to take Luna to the beach house once he wrapped up a quick meeting.
After RJ stepped out, Poppy scolded Luna for almost blabbing to RJ about what happened.
Poppy felt that if Luna came clean about accidentally sleeping with Zende, then she would lose RJ. Zende suggested Luna indeed needed to be careful and think about what she stood to lose – or gain – if she went down that road.
Once Luna and RJ were gone, Zende seemed annoyed over Poppy hanging around and freaking out.
Although Zende assured Poppy that he wasn’t plotting anything, he made it clear that he’d be there to pick up the pieces if RJ was stupid enough to lose Luna.
Poppy felt the only way that would happen is if RJ found out the truth, so she was determined to keep everything under wraps and felt it was for the good of Zende’s relationship with RJ, too.
Afterward, Zende flashed back to his time in bed with Luna and seemed pensive.
At the beach house, RJ talked Luna into going for a night swim.
Luna insisted she never wanted to disappoint RJ and couldn’t imagine her life without him, but he promised he wasn’t going anywhere.
Back at Forrester Creations, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) made out with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) in the CEO office and offered updates on the advice she gave Steffy earlier, which didn’t go over well.
Hope admitted she didn’t have the greatest delivery and that Steffy probably didn’t want to hear it coming from her anyway, but she felt the need to push for compassion for Finn’s situation.
Thomas loved Hope’s big heart, but he didn’t want to spend the rest of their evening discussing Finn and Steffy.
After Thomas suggested love would find a way, he pointed to his relationship with Hope as a positive example and said he’d always love her.
At the cliff house on Friday’s B&B episode, Finn entered with Steffy and stared at the spot where the blood used to be.
Steffy explained that she had a cleaning crew take care of it and just wanted to put all this behind them.
Finn found out the kids were staying elsewhere tonight and agreed with Steffy about them needing to reconnect alone.
Since Finn was exhausted, Steffy urged him to rest on the sofa and said she’d wake him with a kiss after her shower.
Finn thought back to soaking his hand in Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) blood and seemed pensive before he closed his eyes.
Once Finn was asleep, he had a terrible nightmare of Steffy repeatedly stabbing Sheila like it was some kind of horror movie.
Finn woke up shouting “stop” over and over, so Steffy rushed to his side and tried to comfort him.
After Finn said he couldn’t save Sheila and struggled to catch his breath, Steffy realized he had an awful dream and hated that he was feeling so tortured.
Steffy told Finn that they were going to get through this and held him in her arms, but he still looked distraught over her shoulder.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will continue to wrestle with all the difficult Sheila news and Steffy’s role in her fate, so stay tuned.
