Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, March 15, reveals that Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) handed John Black (Drake Hogestyn) a photo of Catharina (Ellie Patrikios), but John didn’t recognize her.
Konstantin told John the story of how “The Pawn” paid him a visit with a message from Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and beat him until he was unconscious.
When Konstantin awoke, Catharina had been fatally wounded – and John was standing there with the gun in his hand.
John was distraught despite not being able to remember the ordeal and admitted he always “had a feeling.”
Konstantin hoped that feeling overtook John’s whole life and made it clear that John was going to pay for what he’d done.
At the townhouse on Friday’s Days episode, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) told Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) the same story from his perspective.
John came home and eavesdropped for a moment, so he realized Steve knew about Catharina and never told him. That led to John confronting Steve over his secret and the fact that he told Marlena before him.
At the DiMera mansion on Friday’s DOOL show, Holly Jones (Ashley Puzemis) defended Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) and suggested EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) had been too harsh by having him arrested.
Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) agreed that maybe EJ was overreacting, but he felt that actions had consequences.
When Holly begged EJ not to have Tate thrown in jail, he at least said he’d consider Tate’s options.
Once Nicole was alone with Holly, she questioned how Holly could be so sure Tate was innocent on New Year’s Eve. Nicole wondered if Holly was covering for Tate, but Holly insisted she just knew he’d never drug her.
While Nicole was off making Holly a grilled cheese, Holly snuck out of the house. Nicole returned with Holly’s lunch and was surprised to find her missing.
Downstairs, Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) confronted EJ about Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) whereabouts and thought it was awfully suspicious that he disappeared right when Clyde Weston (James Read) escaped.
Harris said he knew Stefan was working for Clyde and that he now remembered Stefan pulling the trigger on him that night.
Since Harris suspected EJ knew more than he was letting on, he pushed EJ to reveal Stefan’s location.
However, EJ played dumb and acted like Harris’ brain had been scrambled too much to be reliable.
At the police station on Friday’s Days episode, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) lashed out at Tate for making his legal issues worse, but Tate insisted he had to see Holly and complained about being railroaded for a crime he didn’t commit.
Tate admitted he was angry and scared, so he called himself a loser for all the mistakes he kept making. Brady argued that Tate was human and tried to reassure him along with Theresa.
Holly made it to the Salem PD and asked for Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) help, but Jada couldn’t let her in the interrogation room to see Tate.
Once Brady opened the blinds on Friday’s Days episode, Tate was able to exchange a look with Holly.
Jada called Nicole down to the police station, so she rushed over and scolded Holly for running off.
Holly tried to explain that she let Tate inside the house, but she got nowhere and was forced to go home.
As for Jada, she gave Tate, Theresa and Brady updates on the latest news. EJ had decided not to press more charges, so Tate would be sent back to his halfway house with an ankle monitor.
Tate hoped that maybe Holly could come visit him, but Jada insisted a restraining order now prevented him from going near her or the DiMera mansion.
