General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, April 5, reveals that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) helped with Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) wedding dress emergency.
Most of Lila Quartermaine’s (Anna Lee) gown was too old for alterations, but Lois thought it was time for a little creativity.
After a phone call to the dress shop, Brook Lynn was thrilled over a portion of the dress being salvageable.
At the Metro Court, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) invited Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) to join him at the bar since they were both waiting on other people.
Natalia wound up admitting she was still struggling with Blaze aka Allison Rogers’ (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) romantic life, but Sonny was understanding and helpful.
Since Natalia noticed that Sonny seemed lighter now, he offered updates on Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) recovery and how it had improved his mood.
Once Brook Lynn and Lois arrived, Natalia seemed miffed over Brook Lynn’s wedding plans taking priority and wondered if Brook Lynn could be proper management for Blaze.
At a private table, Brook Lynn insisted she could and also made it clear that she wasn’t in charge of Blaze’s private life. It’d up for Blaze to decide what she did or didn’t share.
That said, Brook Lynn pointed out that Blaze was dating Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and that Sonny adored his daughter.
BLQ doubted that Sonny would approve of Natalia pushing to keep Blaze and Kristina’s relationship under wraps.
Back with Sonny, Lois joined him at the bar and instantly judged Natalia as a stage mom who wouldn’t let Blaze run her own life.
At Bobbie’s, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) praised Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) for how she handled Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) case, which surprised Molly.
Carly acknowledged that she might feel differently if everything had another outcome, but she was pleased since Jason was free and Dante was on the mend.
After Kristina arrived, she talked to Carly about Nina Corinthos’ (Cynthia Watros) return to Crimson, but Carly acted unbothered and was sure Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) must have his reasons.
Kristina joined Molly at a table soon after while Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) gave Carly the news about Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) plan to become a cop.
It left Josslyn worried about Sonny going after Dex, so she loudly complained about how Sonny belonged in prison forever. Kristina confronted Josslyn, so they had an argument about Sonny’s mob activities.
Josslyn thought Sonny was a cruel gangster who’d ruined so many lives and urged Molly to show Kristina the case regarding Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
No matter what Cyrus did in the past, he was an old man who wouldn’t defend himself now.
Kristina rushed to Sonny’s defense and thought Josslyn was ungrateful considering everything Sonny had done for her over the years.
After Kristina stormed out, Molly ranted at Josslyn since Krissy was pregnant and didn’t need this stress.
Once Molly left, Carly urged Josslyn to understand why Kristina would defend her dad.
Josslyn seemed more concerned about Dex and the possibility that Sonny would take him out permanently now that he was joining the PCPD.
Next on Friday’s GH episode, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) met with Drew to follow up on their discussion about using Aurora to boost the city’s image.
John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) interrupted the meeting to grill Drew about Jason and whether he’d been in touch with him.
Drew denied it and assured John that he wasn’t close to Jason, but John seemed skeptical.
If Drew was found to be connected to Jason and any criminal activities, Drew could be sent back to Pentonville.
Drew had nothing to hide and wasn’t scared over John’s warning, but he pointed out that he’d make sure any investigation of him was made public.
Drew didn’t think the FBI wanted that kind of attention, so John decided they were done for now. That said, John told Drew to contact him if he heard from Jason.
Drew insisted that if John wanted to take Jason down, that was on him. It was obvious Drew didn’t want to be involved.
Once John left, Jordan questioned who Drew hated more: Special Agent Cates or Jason?
Although Drew didn’t hate his brother, he didn’t want to get tangled up in Jason’s trouble.
Jordan was glad she stuck around to watch Drew stand up to John since it was a thing of beauty!
At Pentonville, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) interrogated Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) about Pikeman and his criminal behavior, but Brennan acted like maybe someone framed him since they didn’t like the direction he was taking the WSB in.
Anna said she’d consider helping Brennan prove that, but she wanted the name of the person who was running Pikeman in his absence.
Brennan lied that he didn’t know, so Anna rehashed her history with him before asking once again.
After Brennan decided Anna was wasting her time, he called the guard and said Anna was done with him.
At Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) penthouse, she brought Dante home and worried since Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) was MIA, but Danny eventually returned with doughnuts to celebrate Dante’s homecoming.
Sam wanted Danny to confirm that he wasn’t with Jason, so he said he wasn’t.
After Sam decided to give Danny’s phone back so she could turn the locator on, he lashed out over her not trusting him.
Dante spoke to Sam privately and suggested maybe it was a mistake to ban Danny from Jason since that’d only make him want to see his dad more.
In the end, Dante, Sam, Danny, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) and Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) all celebrated Dante’s recovery by having dessert before dinner.
General Hospital spoilers say Sam has more Danny troubles ahead of her, so stick with us for more predictions on all the chaos ahead.
