The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of May 13-17 reveal that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) seems poised to become an even bigger issue for Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
After Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) makes an impassioned defense of her daughter, she’ll hope Summer might relent and let Claire have the new nanny job.
Kyle may agree with Victoria since Claire is pretty much the only person Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) has been able to connect with since they started their search.
That’s especially true now that Harrison has been through this kidnapping ordeal.
Harrison is undoubtedly wary of strangers and would probably benefit from healing alongside Claire in the continued Jordan (Colleen Zenk) aftermath.
Although Summer thinks Claire could trigger bad memories and vibes for Harrison, will she eventually relent and allow Claire to take over nanny duties – at least on a temporary basis?
It’s possible Harrison will beg Summer to let Claire become his main babysitter, but we’ll just have to see how it all plays out.
Regardless, it’s hard to imagine Summer will fully trust Claire anytime soon!
Even if Summer backs down when it comes to keeping Claire away from Harrison, she may keep a close eye on her cousin for the foreseeable future.
Next, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) could feel caught between his former flame and his current wife.
Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) feud with Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will reignite, so that could add to the problems in Jack’s marriage.
Phyllis helped Jack deal with his pill addiction in the past, so she could end up helping him again if he heads back down a terrible drug road.
If that’s the case, you can bet Diane will be furious over the exes reconnecting with each other.
For now, Diane will seethe after Phyllis pushes her buttons, so she may complain to Jack as their marriage strife continues.
As for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), how long can he keep Jordan’s survival and location a secret?
Although Victor has been working hard to cover his tracks, it may only be a matter of time before someone discovers Jordan in his dungeon.
If someone’s going to find Jordan at some point, it makes sense for it to be a Newman family member or perhaps Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) since he’s already been suspicious of what Victor’s hiding.
Speaking of Cole, it looks like he’ll reenter passionate territory with Victoria.
Y&R fans can expect Victoria and Cole’s relationship to take a sizzling turn, so our predictions indicate they’ll hit the sheets soon enough.
Meanwhile, Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) alters will fight for control once again, so they could end up going haywire and switching out multiple times in front of Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins).
Alan will do his best to help Ashley, but he could land in danger if he gets in “Ms. Abbott’s” way!
“Ms. Abbott” is on a mission to eliminate Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), so Alan had better be careful about how he handles all this.
