The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has a soft spot for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) since he’s a former flame that she still cares about. A reunion between Billy and Lily is possible, but a certain redhead might get in the way.
Y&R seems to be pushing Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) together as a new romantic option, so where does that leave single Lily?
Although Lily could get tangled up in a love triangle with Sally and Billy, there’s another story path to consider.
Lily has had some intriguing interactions with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) lately – including one where they expressed mutual admiration for each other in the June 26 episode.
It’s clear that Chance values the work Lily has done at Chancellor-Winters – and she values his refreshing honesty as well as his genuine desire to rise above all the conflict.
Of course, we also know Lily’s going to stick with Abbott-Chancellor instead of bailing on the company to work with Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
That means Lily will be partnering up with Billy, which could lead to some clashing.
It’s easy to imagine Chance playing referee and earning Lily’s gratitude as he works to keep the peace.
That could pull Lily further in Chance’s direction and lead to some flying sparks.
With Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) so fixated on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and all the custody drama, neglected Chance could get lonely and turn to Lily instead!
Both Lily and Chance know how much it hurts to get cheated on, but that may not stop them from causing the same sort of pain.
If Chance is headed for a breakup with Summer, a betrayal with Lily would be a great way to set that split in motion.
Bottom line, we’ve already seen Lily and Chance pass a chemistry test – not to mention Summer’s distracted and not giving Chance much attention these days.
Could all that up to Chance betraying Summer with Lily at some point? Will Summer totally spin out after losing the one stable thing she has left?
