Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, September 6, reveals that Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) told Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) that she remembered the accident, but she couldn’t make out the driver’s face since there was a glare and things were fuzzy.
Xander hoped Sarah might be able to identify Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) if she kept at it, but Fiona insisted Sarah needed her rest.
While Xander was downstairs getting Sarah some soup, Fiona sang “Hush, Little Baby” and stroked Sarah’s hair as she drifted off.
Fiona eventually asked God to forgive her for what she was about to do and grabbed a pillow to smother Sarah, so she clearly didn’t want to risk any other memories emerging.
Over with Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), she considered the possibility that maybe Brady wasn’t responsible since he couldn’t recall hitting Sarah.
Maggie pushed Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) to help Brady, who stood his ground with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) at the police station.
Brady felt he had to accept responsibility for his actions and plead guilty, even if that meant going to prison.
Outside the interrogation room on Friday’s Days episode, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) clashed with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and refused to let the DA railroad Brady.
EJ argued it wasn’t railroading if Brady confessed, but he wasn’t surprised about Eric’s attitude since he was also guilty of driving drunk with tragic consequences.
After EJ pushed Eric’s buttons over Daniel Jonas’ (Shawn Christian) demise, Justin showed up and urged EJ to see that his case wasn’t strong enough.
Justin insisted there was reasonable doubt without any hard evidence, so Brady would be acquitted – especially since he couldn’t remember anything to back up his confession.
Back in the interrogation room on Friday’s DOOL show, Brady was touched over Eric’s visit and hugged him.
However, Brady hoped Eric wasn’t there to talk him out of taking responsibility for what he’d done.
Eric assured Brady that he understood since he’d been in his shoes due to the whole Daniel situation.
While he was in town, Eric planned to tell Holly the truth about his role in her father’s grim fate before she found out another way.
Once Eric left, Justin joined Brady with some legal updates.
EJ popped up and said Brady was free to go, so he pushed Brady to get out of there before he changed his mind.
Nevertheless, EJ planned to prosecute Brady just as soon as he got firm proof and could guarantee he’d go down.
In the park on Friday’s Days episode, Tate Black (Leo Howard) was forced to come clean after his slipup, so he told Holly that Eric was the one who drove drunk and killed Daniel.
Tate overheard the big family secret when he was younger and assumed Holly already knew.
Holly struggled to believe Tate at first, but he convinced her that he wouldn’t lie to her – especially not about something like this.
Holly cried over the shocking news and fumed over Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) selfishly protecting Daniel’s killer.
Since Holly wanted to be alone right now, she snapped at Tate to just leave. Tate wound up at the townhouse, where he confessed to John about spilling something he shouldn’t have to Holly.
Back in the park on Friday’s Days episode, Holly looked up the crash on her phone and confirmed that Eric caused Daniel’s sad outcome.
Holly was still crying when Eric appeared, so she glared up at him from the bench she was sitting on.
