The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 25, reveals that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will fake Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) out by saying Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) wants them to leave town with Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant).
Phyllis will assume this is because of Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and will threaten to put her in a headlock, so Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will convince Daniel to come clean.
Daniel will admit he talked Heather into staying in town, so there’s no need to worry.
Phyllis will also reveal that she’s Abbott-Chancellor’s COO and order a bottle of bubbly so she can celebrate the news with Daniel and Summer.
Although Phyllis will suggest having dessert as well, Daniel will have to go pick Lucy up following her community service.
At the GCAC, Daniel will treat Lucy to ice cream as a reward and offer updates on Sharon’s recent apology.
Lucy will get excited thinking this means she can talk to Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) again, but Daniel will feel like it’s best to back off for a while.
At the cottage on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Faith will continue to fret over missing Sharon and will fill Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in on her encounter with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Nick won’t be mad that Faith asked Adam for help since they’re on pretty good terms these days.
Plus, Adam was there for Sharon when she was first diagnosed with bipolar disorder, so Nick will understand why Faith sought his assistance.
Faith will admit that Adam gave her some good advice since he told her to trust Nick to find Sharon. If anyone can bring Sharon home, it’s Nick!
Once Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) come over, Faith will head to the kitchen.
Nick will acknowledge how much Faith is struggling and worry about how bad things could get for Sharon if they don’t find her soon.
At Daniel’s penthouse, “Cameron Kirsten” (Linden Ashby) will keep pushing Sharon until she finally puts some poison drops in the whiskey bottle.
Moments later, “Cameron” will pressure Sharon to get out of there so she doesn’t get caught.
However, Sharon will notice Daniel’s family photo with Heather and Lucy before she can head out the door.
That’ll lead to Sharon imagining the horror of Heather and Lucy finding Daniel dead on the floor.
Sharon will also flash back to Daniel telling he how sorry he was over what happened to Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes).
“Cameron” will urge Sharon not to be a sucker, but Sharon will insist this is murder and that she can’t do it.
Since Cassie would be ashamed of her for going after Daniel like this, Sharon will wrestle with “Cameron” over the bottle.
Due to the struggle, Sharon will accidentally knock off a nearby tray with a pitcher and glasses on it.
Glass will shatter everywhere, so Sharon will clean up the shards and put them in the wastebasket.
Sharon will also dump the poisoned whiskey out and put the empty bottle back in the cabinet.
“Cameron” will fume over Sharon letting this opportunity at justice slip through her fingers, but Sharon will push him to go away.
Just as Sharon is about to exit Daniel’s penthouse, she’ll open the door to find Heather standing there.
Both Heather and Sharon will look equally shocked to see each other!
