General Hospital spoilers tease now that Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) are both back in Port Charles and working at GH, there could be a reconciliation ahead.
It’s been several years since they divorced over Brad’s desperate baby swap, with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) almost a tween; might Lucas finally find it in his heart to forgive Brad?
General Hospital Spoilers: Brad Seems To Have Learned His Lesson
Brad seems to have learned his lesson and at least GH Co-Chief Of Staff Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) believed him, or she wouldn’t have given him a chance working in the GH lab.
Brad made a lot of mischief as the lab chief in the past, everything from falsifying DNA tests to taking credit for Dr. Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) Blackwood’s Syndrome cure.
Plus, there were strikes against him when it was revealed he is Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) nephew, tying him to the infamous Wu crime family.
Even if the two don’t seek each other out, Brad and Lucas are bound to see each other in the hospital somewhere.
And now, Lucas needs emotional support with his cousin Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) in bad shape so soon after the death of his adoptive mother Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman).
GH Spoilers: Lucas Knows What May Be Ahead For Lulu And The Family
If Lucas looks at Lulu’s case file he knows the danger she’s in, and what may happen if Lucky Spencer’s (Jonathan Jackson) liver isn’t quite up to par for a transplant.
The same thing happened with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) even though otherwise he would have been a perfect match-they knew that from the past.
Lucky was only a kid when Lulu was a baby, so of course no one even tested him then-especially not for bone marrow, which is a painful process to harvest.
Lucas may get tested himself but he knows that’s not ideal, since he is related only by adoption, although a non-relative’s liver may be an option if it’s a match.
Brad and he may run into each other close to Lulu’s room, and Brad may reach out with sympathy.
General Hospital Spoilers: Things May Be Different Now, Time Heals Many Wounds
Things may be different now, as time heals many wounds-and it probably won’t happen overnight, but Lucas may accept friendship first which stirs up buried love.
As time goes on, Lucas and Brad may become closer and bond anew, with Brad of course considering himself on probation-he understands he’d have to prove himself.
Or, it may just happen gradually when Lucas can see Brad’s changed, and give him another chance.
Never say never when it comes to love-even through odds that seem impossible. ‘Brucas” could very well be headed for a reconciliation in their future.
