General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, September 30, reveals that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was relieved to learn Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) made it back with Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), who had some tests run at GH before reuniting with Carly.
Lucky also paid a visit to Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins) bedside, where he teared up and thought maybe things could’ve been different if he’d stuck around. Once Lulu was awake, he suggested they could discuss whether forgiveness was an option.
At home, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) gave Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy) updates on Lucky coming home to PC. Aiden acknowledged that he was always the one to reach out to his dad and not the other way around.
That said, Aiden knew Lucky was returning to save Lulu, so he couldn’t be mad about that. If Lucky wanted to get in touch and see him, Aiden wouldn’t turn him down.
Even so, Aiden basically made it clear that he was a mama’s boy and proud of it!
Next, James West (Gary James Fuller) opened the door to Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), who opened a bottle of bubbly and spoke to someone on the phone about the diamonds while Mac Scorpio (John J. York) took James to school.
Once Mac came back, he expressed concern about Holly derailing Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) happy life.
In Robert’s office, he spoke to Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) and agreed to debrief Holly following all the Africa drama. Brennan had a workaround so that Robert could handle it without being part of the WSB.
Later, Holly approached Robert’s door and was tempted to knock, but she ultimately chose to just walk away.
Back at GH, Carly grilled Jason about his mission and was surprised to hear about Holly’s involvement.
When Jason mentioned the drone strike saving the day, Carly took credit since she went to Brennan for help.
Jason was uneasy over that news since Brennan couldn’t be trusted.
Carly felt like there was something Jason was keeping from her about the mission, but he claimed there was nothing and took off.
Once Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) interacted with Lucky at the hospital, she visited Liz to fill her in.
Elizabeth admitted that talking to Lucky on the phone stirred up complicated feelings, but she clearly had her guard up when it came to protecting her heart.
Liz made a prediction about Lucky leaving again just as soon as he saved Lulu.
At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) place, she flashed back to her kiss with Jason before Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) showed up to question her about the mission.
Anna recapped all the danger, so Felicia suggested it must’ve been comforting to have Jason there.
At the hospital again, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) showed Terry the results of Lucky’s tests, so they were pleased since it looked like Lulu had found her donor.
Lucky made his way to Bobbie’s, he walked in and saw Elizabeth at the counter. When Liz turned around, she came face to face with Lucky in as they shared an intense reunion.
