Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, October 7, reveals that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) got a visit from EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), who handed over Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) signed affidavit. EJ insisted he could stay on as DA now and explained how he had threatened to sue Stefan for defamation.
At the hospital on Monday’s Days episode, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) was curious why Stefan suddenly seemed to be in such a hurry to divorce her.
Stefan brought up his earlier conversation with EJ, who taunted him about not getting over the image of Gabi in bed with his brother.
Gabi acknowledged that she couldn’t get the image of Stefan and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) out of her head either.
Although Gabi and Stefan realized there was no coming back from the damage that had been done, they shared some tender moments as they thought back on their love story.
Gabi assured Stefan that she was on the same page about the divorce as she bid him farewell, but she let her emotions pour out she was alone.
EJ dropped by later, so Gabi briefly lashed out over how he gloated to Stefan earlier. However, Gabi ultimately realized she couldn’t blame EJ for her imminent divorce.
EJ hinted that Gabi might still be able to fight for her marriage, but she made a prediction about it being over for good this time.
At the pub on Monday’s Days episode, Ava talked to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) about the rent she still owed him.
Roman was willing to give Ava her job back once again, but he urged her to clear the air with Stefan and see where things stood.
When Ava showed up at The Bistro, Stefan wondered she was there to reclaim the job he offered her.
After Stefan explained that the divorce was moving forward, she hoped he wasn’t moving too quickly.
Stefan didn’t see any reason to drag this out since the damage was irreparable and urged Ava to return to work for him since his marriage wouldn’t be a problem.
In the town square, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) hinted to Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) about Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) having a surprise for them.
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) came along and said he heard the good news about “Abigail DiMera” (AnnaLynne McCord), which confused the kids since they thought their mom was deceased.
Leo came up with a story about Abigail’s angel wings upgrade and tied it in with his Tooth Fairy deception.
At the Horton house on Monday’s Days episode, Chad met with “Abigail” and worked to convince her that it was time to come clean to the children.
“Abigail” still didn’t want to disappoint Thomas and Charlotte by not remembering them.
Once Julie came home with the kids, Thomas asked who “Abigail” was. “Abigail” claimed she was just a work friend of Chad’s and put off the conversation about Thomas and Charlotte’s mom returning.
Next on Monday’s DOOL show, “Abigail” made a pitch to Chad while Julie was getting the kids settled elsewhere.
Julie returned and found out “Abigail” wanted to go with Chad to Paris, where more memories might resurface.
If “Abigail” didn’t recall anything more, then she assured Chad and Julie that they’d confess to the kids.
Chad liked the sound of all that and was excited about this Paris trip.
