General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that the soap’s preview video for the week of October 14-18 has dropped, which has left fans reeling.
The good news seems to be that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) may have found the liver donor her loved ones have been looking for.
The bad news? She could be crashing and crashing fast!
In the GH preview video for this coming week, there’s a specific clip that shows Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) filled with excitement as she announces that, “You’ve found a match”.
Considering she’s in full nurse gear in front of a computer at the hospital in the nurse’s station, viewers can only assume that Lulu has finally found a liver donor she so desperately needs.
Still, the happiness fades to worry, as a clip of Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is shown next, with a concerned look on his face.
He’s in the doorway of a hospital room as a doctor in the background states, “She’s crashing”.
Yikes! Is Lulu crashing?
Fans know that she’s struggling to stay alive in her comatose state, awaiting a miracle in the form of a liver donor.
While it’s great news that Lulu’s found a donor, could it be too late?
It likely won’t be as fans anticipate the debut of Alexa Havins as Lulu; however, the character was fading quickly during the week of October 7-11.
Lulu on the brink of death would bring on the drama, so it is safe to assume that Lulu is the one that could crash this week.
Especially since GH previews and spoilers are infamous for swerving fans once episodes air.
Then again, is the doctor referring to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco)? Fans know the actress and character are on their way out.
After all, news hit in September that Kelly Monaco was let go from the soap and the daytime drama was planning on axing the character for Sam’s exit storyline.
There’s also been a ton of speculation that Sam could end up being Lulu’s liver donor.
While Sam had stated she was going to get tested as soon as the news hit that Lulu required a transplant, so much as transpired since then, which may have caused Sam to delay getting tested.
Her sister, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) landed in the hospital and lost the baby she was carrying, and her mom Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) landed in Pentonville and is awaiting trial for the shooting of John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington).
Of course, fans know Alexis was not behind John’s demise, but the drama surrounding this arc has left everyone on the edge of their seats.
It’s possible that Sam got tested, and was not a viable live candidate, but if she were to pass on, this could change things.
Then again, it’s also plausible that Sam forgot to get tested or there was a mix up at the lab.
If Sam lands in a dire situation, doctors may realize that her liver could be donated to Lulu, which would complicate things for Dante.
He’d be happy the mother of his son is given another chance to live but devastated that his current love is gone.
General Hospital spoilers say there’s nothing this soap loves more than a Greek-tragedy storyline, and Sam passing away so that Lulu can live will be a rollercoaster of emotions for Dante!
