The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 15, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) remained skeptical of Taylor Hayes’ (Rebecca Budig) broken heart syndrome diagnosis and acted like it was ridiculous nonsense.
However, Taylor insisted a cardiologist confirmed it and explained how she thought she had heart failure until Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) ran another test.
Brooke wanted to do her own research, but she admitted she didn’t think Taylor would be manipulative enough to make this up.
Although Brooke was sorry for what Taylor was going through, she still didn’t trust Taylor and demanded to know her intentions with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Taylor played up how Ridge had contacted the healer and been so supportive, so Brooke insisted Taylor took full advantage of that.
If Taylor thought she could use the situation to get close to Ridge, Brooke made it clear it wasn’t happening.
Next on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) stopped by John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) office and admitted Ridge was using her place for something he had planned with Taylor.
That left both Steffy and Finn curious about the exes being alone, so Finn pointed out that Ridge and Brooke weren’t married.
When Finn suggested maybe Taylor and Ridge could get back together after all, Steffy supported that idea despite reiterating that she wouldn’t play matchmaker.
Based on Steffy’s predictions, Ridge would be much happier with Taylor than he was with Brooke.
As Finn left to check on a patient, he cracked a joke about avoiding the cliff house due to what Steffy might walk in on.
Steffy eventually showed up at the cliff house, where Taylor was assuring Brooke that she was moving on with her life and that she didn’t need a man.
After Brooke exited, Steffy pushed Taylor for answers.
Taylor explained that Brooke had witnessed Ridge helping her try to balance her chakras, so Steffy was even more confused.
Taylor admitted she’d been keeping something from Steffy and that there was another reason she came back to Los Angeles.
Although Taylor assured Steffy there was no reason to be scared, she confessed that she came back because she previously thought she had heart disease and believed she was dying.
Steffy reeled as she wrapped her head around Taylor’s shocker.
At the Forrester mansion, Eric Forrester (John McCook) summoned Ridge with questions about what was going on with Taylor since he sensed the potential for trouble.
According to Eric, Brooke seemed perturbed over all the time Ridge had been spending with Taylor lately.
Ridge got updates on Brooke heading over to the cliff house earlier, so he was surprised that he didn’t see her there.
Since Taylor had given him permission to spill, Ridge filled Eric in on her broken heart syndrome.
Eric was relieved to know Taylor was OK and that she’d had a real breakthrough in her healing tonight.
In Brooke’s bedroom, she thought back to what she witnessed at Steffy’s place and looked unsettled. Ridge later showed up and learned that Brooke had seen him with Taylor earlier.
Brooke also admitted to confronting Taylor and finding out about her broken heart syndrome, so Ridge said that couldn’t have been easy to process.
After Brooke noted that Taylor seemed healthy when she first came back to town, she acknowledged that Taylor fainted in front of Ridge.
Although Ridge said the good news was that Taylor wasn’t dying, he pointed out that she’d still need treatment.
Brooke asked if that was Taylor’s treatment tonight and pushed Ridge to tell her exactly what he was doing with his ex-wife.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Taylor will cause more problems between Ridge and Brooke whether she means to or not, so stay tuned!
